I have no idea who he will end up with (if anyone, for all I know he might die) but I have to say that if they planned to hook him up with Lee Da Hae, they sort of miscalculated badly, because we are already midway through and not only have they barely met, but they had the whole YoungRan/DongChul thing going for ages. And made it very very clear he is still in love with her despite separation and all. He was after a 3 yr separation in ep 14 (I think that's the ep) but now they jumped forward in time 2 more years, and he is still in love with her: he is still remembering their day together, and when when she calls him and he tells her not to, he completely crumples afterwards, and the preview for ep 25 showed him sobbing by her bed (she is locked up somewhere by her father, I think). So it would be extremely surreal to set up LDH as his grand grand OTP now. Hopefully they won't do it (I am rooting for a using-each-other-with-hot-sex-thrown-in type fling ( ... )
