Reading this makes my chest all tight just like watching it in the first place. It killed my soul! As much as I enjoyed certain other pairings that came later (really, really enjoyed in the case of Buffy/Spike, although I didn't much like Buffy herself by that point), there's no question that B/A is the OTP of the Buffyverse.

Seriously though, second half of S2 always kills me.

I know. It's every girl's worst nightmare (well, mine also includes impregnation with a demon baby, but you know what I mean). The first time I watched it, I had to keep hitting the pause button because it was too much.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Angel/Buffy & John/Aeryn are definitely my favourite pairings from any western show! Sydney & Vaughn almost had me, and then they ruined the show.

YESSSSS. And it gets even better. I did a huge rewatch with ep-by-ep recaps and I stopped near end of S3 and must really pick it up.
