Top Dozen Jdramas: all new expanded and improved list

Nothing is as good as a good jdrama, so favorite jdramas are my favorite dramas of all.

I did a Top Jdramas list some time ago, with reasons and vids, but time to update. Why? Well, for one, current dramas number 3-5 weren't even on the list then, because I haven't seen them.

You must see Utahime! Nagase and Aibu Saki (from Zettai Kareshi) as fake siblings in the 1950s, and there's amnesia and angst and Elvis.

You had my kdrama-trained brain at 'fake siblings.' Well, not really, I have wanted to watch Utahime ever since you and others recced it a few days ago when I was asking to Nagase recs.

I plan to watch as soon as I get home and can dl. I didn't love Aibu Saki in ZK but didn't dislike her either (and ZK was nothing to write home acting/script-wise anyway) so yay...Utahime, here I come!

It starts out pretty silly (though no sillier than HGD, really) and then tramples on your heart so gooood.

I love that bridge scene so much...so perfectly romantic and heart-breaking. Even better than their kissing in the empty amphitheater.

I must say, it makes me happy that Tatta Hitotsu no Koi is still on there. :3 I love that drama. ^^

Have some of the dramas moved down, though? [Like Gokusen].

I think I'll check out some of the dramas on here. :D

Yup, they have moved down because I inserted three more dramas into spots 3-5. For a lot of the dramas, except for the first couple, the spots are variable depending on my mood, but the list remains the same in which dramas are on it :)

My favorite Kurosagi scene is actually one from the manga.
In the latest volume (19th) we find out that Kurosaki's birthday is on Valentine's day (yeah... how ironic is that XD) and it seems that he takes Tsurara on a date, and even buys her a dress (I wish I knew how to read japanese, though T.T). But that's not my favorite scene, it's the kiss scene!! (finally **sigh**).

I love reading your commentary on your favorite dramas. You reminded me that I need to attempt to watch Pride sometime. I also need to finish HYD2 so I can go watch the movie in the theatre.
