thank you for sharing your pics. do you remember which ryokan you stayed in? ours wasn't that great -- it was popular w/ foreigners so we felt we were getting an odd packaged experience.
There's something about Japan that scares me a little. Or maybe, intimidate is the right word. It's mighty interesting, though.
And I'm asking permission again to take the first photo for prints to include in my notebook. I'm going back to school soon (torturing myself, yes) and I'm hoping these captured moments help ease the readings a bit.
