oh, kyoto! so pretty yet so confusing.

thank you for sharing your pics. do you remember which ryokan you stayed in? ours wasn't that great -- it was popular w/ foreigners so we felt we were getting an odd packaged experience.

I don't remember. Will ask Mr. Mousie. We were the only non-Japanese there, but it wasn't high season anyway.

There's something about Japan that scares me a little. Or maybe, intimidate is the right word. It's mighty interesting, though.

And I'm asking permission again to take the first photo for prints to include in my notebook. I'm going back to school soon (torturing myself, yes) and I'm hoping these captured moments help ease the readings a bit.

And the guy in the first train station pic looks a lot like Hiraoka Yuta! :D LOL.

Kyoto is such a gorgeous city. Overdose of temples beware though, LOL. I went up here as well! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/Dangermousie/japan%202/P9120818-1.jpg And Mister Donut! Eeeeeeeeeee! They have such yummy donuts, I swear :D
