I. Note to self: Do not read 100% Perfect Girl manhwa while using public transport. You never know when you are going to come across a full-page panel of Jarte (our hero) taking a shower, while you are sitting next to an elderly grandpa. Purely a hypothetical, of course :D

II. Because I am planning a Fushigi Yuugi rewatch, here is a cool (Miaka/ ( Read more... )

I came out as Generation Y too!

I came so close to buying 100% Perfect Girl but opted for Kare Kano instead!

Did you see the original post that stimulated the fabulous Firefly anti-male analysis? The scary thing is *that* poster was dead serious, and so were most of the commenters! =8-O

btw, drama fangirls are a very weird bunch, i try to remember that a lot of them actually have an average age of about 15...but then, i think that a lot of oriental girls have this kind of mentality...i never understood it when i was younger and it still disturbs me now...

as for the anti-male thing...ah well, if you look hard enough, you'll always find things that annoy people...

Some teen girl who lost a lot of weight went on some Korean TV show and got a hug from a member of SuperJunior (a Korean boyband with way too many members, none of whom I can distinguish from the next). That pic appeared on-line and the fans of SuJu (known as ‘Elves’) apparently sent the girl hate mail, threatening voice-messages, and similar harrassment. The girl killed herself.

That disturbs me. I actually find a lot of fangirls - mostly fan girls of asian idols - to be very cruel, selfish, and slightly insane. I know that most of them are teenagers, but teens know the difference between right and wrong. Yet, many of them get angry when their favorite idol shows any type of affection for a female. Though, the seem to love the malexmale stuff. . .

I think that's why Johnny and Co. don't let any of their talents, under a certain age, publicly state if they are dating.

As for the ISWAK anime - I must find it. Personally, I found the girl in the TWdrama very annoying - she was just so stupid. I actually thought the girl in the ( ... )

ISWAK anime looks so cute and the girl comes across as very spunky, which is awesome.

I'm going to be contrary to you and I am for the lady bodyguard and the fellow bodyguard in "Powerful Opponents." But I do love some mean detours with the younger man she's guarding. :)

And yeah, fangirls are a weird bunch. I think because in general they're young.

That's true. And I do love Chae Rim, so this should be something that I would enjoy.
