One of the reasons I like Asian entertainment?

I have just watched a movie about a guy in post-apocalyptic New Zealand Japan who is on a quest to recover his 48 missing body parts, which have been taken by demons. He is accompanied by a cross-dressing female thief and he has swords for arms.

I haven't watched Dororo yet (I have it) but YES. ORANGE DAYS. A;SLDKFJALSKDJF It is my absolute favorite jdrama of all time, so I'm REALLY HAPPY that you're picking it up. *flails*

Also, when he gets his tongue back, he rolls in the mud screaming her name.

And I adore that the big "romantic" scene at the end was his going to hug her after she cries and him getting kneed and kinda being "ok, not ready for that yet..." (Does he has that part back yet? DOES HE??? IT'S A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION FOR A VARIETY OF BABYMAKING REASONS!!!!)

Also, there are sequels coming. And A manga. I must find the manga.

He has to have gotten that part back already otherwise he wouldn't feel aby pain or effect. He only hurts/is wounded in the parts that he got back. Yay!

I can't wait for the sequels.

But did you know that Dororo is a boy in the manga?

No, I didn't know that, though I'm still interested in the manga. I think the leads are engaged in RL or something, so it was probably changed so it could be a couples movie.
