Heh...as much as I lovelovelove Yukie, I'm not sure I could see her as Sumire, I mean, ignoring anything else, there's the whole height thing...Yukie would need STILTS.

Other than the height, for some reason the vibe I get from her is closer to Sumire's vibe in the manga. But I don't know.

It would be weird if they still had MatsuJun though because I'd be getting Gokusen flashbacks :)

Yukie seems to do best as wacky, or as classix, elegant beauty. modern career woman just isn't something i quite "see" with her.

But Sumire in the manga has a more awkwad/rough vibe so I dunno...I just see NY more but that is because she is my second fave Japanese actress.

Yup, it's one of those 'weird in concept but works in reality' thing. I do love Sumire and Momo and you are right, Hasumi doesn't come off as horrible, just a little dull.

yay, i wanted Nakama Yukie to be Sumire before too. I haven't finished watching Kimi wa Petto because I feel weird when I see the two of them~ unlike Yankumi, their age difference doesn't seem to matter but well in kwp, I feel that Sumire is just too old for Jun T_T

but I'm currently watching Sapuri! I loved it, and I don't mind at all if the girl's older XD yayyy~ ♥
