The Audience: exhibition launch

Last night my husband and I attended the launch of Sir Antony Sher's exhibition (The Audience) at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum in Coventry. It was a private event at which Antony and his partner Greg Doran were present. The champagne flowed, and the welcome speeches were brief! We wandered round, looking at the pictures and maquettes on

I love the paintings as so many of them are self-portraits of Tony in costume for various theatre roles, but I think there's something there for everyone to enjoy :o)
