First: I started this project where everyone needs to send me tapes or burned CDs that ARE NOT JAWBREAKER. Fucking shit. I listen to Jawbreaker 90% of the time, and though I am not sick of them, I should be. So yeah, let's get me hooked on something else ( Read more... )

ooh thank you stacy! you're great. ok so the louisville show is at someone's house. if i get off at 3 that day we can all meet up somewhere and go ASAP. the show starts at 7 and i want to eat somewhere that isn't taco bell this time!! oh yeah thad is from louisville so he can help us navigate so we don't end up on ZORN again. ;)

aw yeah, joey alone is fuckin brilliant. he spends a lot of time in chicago, so i'm lucky enough to have met him. some of my friends are real good friends with him, tho he's only an acquaitance of mine. have you read the loitering is good split with war against the idiots? wati is a really great zine, too, and i think you'd like it if you like joey's zine.

i haven't read the split but it's on my list of zines to look for! lately i've been reading so many CA zines, mostly bay area. maybe i just find good ones, but it seems like zines from that area have a lot of imagery and warmth.

The big scary ice storm we had here was in 93. I remember the power going out all the time not being able to go anywhere for a while.

I'll go to that puppet thing, and I'll go to at least one of the this bike shows. I'll road trip to another one or two if I have the time/money. Give me a call soon.

yeah that was before i moved here. people talked about it every winter for a while. i guess we're going to louisville then, on the 2nd. i still have to work out some details with my boss.
