We're putting together book proposals in Editorial Management class and as part of the group project we have to design a book jacket. I decided that was certainly what I wanted to do compared with writing a boring old report on our imaginary book. When I lived in Chapel Hill, NC I was friends with some folks in a band called Fashion Design. Here's a sketch I did at work the other day. Not sure if I'll do anything else with this, put in any arty effects or maybe some tribal swirls, but I thought I'd post it just for the hell of it.

I've been drawing alot on my wardrobe in recent weeks. Drawing rock stars!I used to build my own furniture before coming to Japan and that hasn't been possible in Japan because the tools would be prohibitvely expensive to ship and I didn't want the expense of buying a whole bunch of new tools here.
