I just got home from what was undisputedly the most horrific thanksgiving week of my entire fucking life. Dont believe me?

No leftovers. We flew out so we didnt take any food with us. :( Worst thanksgiving ever.

My uncle is a nut job but he's slightly even and he ACTUALLY GETS THINGS DONE. Thats the scary part. I dont recognize your name so I'm friending you so you can see it when I post his "Exploits" later.

I admit I'm mostly a lurker who uses my livejournal account just to comment on authors I like! But I felt so bad for your holiday that I had to comment! I really hope that one day you will look back & can laugh at getting through what sounds like the worst Thanksgiving ever! You beat all my friends' horror stories!

My uncle is a nutcase who, terrifyingly, actually manages to get many of his goals accomplished. The worst thing about my mom is that this is NOT NORMAL for her. Thats why it was so traumatic. It was why it was such a shock. I'm guessing you're new because I dont recognize your name and because I'm actually Jewish and I talk about my Judaism kinda a lot. Ughhhhh that sounds truly horrific. Are you feeling better now? Stomach bugs are awful at the best of times, let alone at a big holiday centered around food. That doesn't even TOUCH on the emotional crap.

I am. But man, I cant even. My stomach bug ended on the first day of period. Because that? Is how my luck works. I cant even. *sighs* But I'm home now. I have my puppy and my kitty and I'm going to go to the movies all day sunday come hell or high water. I want to read all the 00Q fic. :D Thanks bb
