My first picspam

A system crash ate my "The Way We Weren't" post this weekend, and it's both difficult and disheartening to try to reconstruct it from memory, so I'm still picking away at it.

Technical difficulties aside, though, I had a good and productive weekend. Among other things, I saw Aeon Flux last Friday with D. and Mrs. D. and I've got to say that I don ( Read more... )

Your making me itch with all this talk of wool yarn. Can you have an allergic reaction by just reading about something?

But, otherwise, they are very pretty. I especially like No. 2.

The puppy? EVIL! Look at those glowing eyes.

You're allergic to wool? ::files away for future reference::

The puppydog's evil powers lie in his ability to make me a sap. It's terrible.

I didn't know you had a dog -- he wasn't around when I visited, was he?

Lovely scarves. I'm envious of your skill; I would never have the patience to knit.

Just showed P. "The Way We Weren't" the other night. He's grudgingly allowing me to show him bits and pieces of Farscape without ever claiming to be into it. We'll see. (:

Sadly, the dog is not mine except in a borrowed, timeshare sort of way. He's D.'s dog, though I get to dogsit often.

Maybe persistence will pay off with P. We can always hope!

I take it as a good sign that he's asked to see more after he watched my vid. He was very curious about a number of things in my most recent vid (to be released soon!), so that's good. OTOH, when I showed him the first season in order, he went "meh" a lot.

Dogsitting is even better than owning a dog. It's like babysitting -- you get to give it back at the end of your shift. (:

Exactly! I'm not home enough to have a dog of my own, but it's nice to hang out with one occasionally.

Oooh! Very pretty. I love the colors on the first one, and the cable knit looks very classic and snuggly, and such a pretty green.

And the puppydog is, indeed, quite handsome. And of course I cracked up at he has therefore settled in my pillows. I think he's also lying on my shirt, because dude. SO TRUE. We bought my puppydog this nice big green plaid blanket thingy to lie on when he's on the couch, and he's like, "No! I want to sit on that pillow! The pillow that you happen to be sitting on!" Goofy dog. However, just last night he started jumping up on the couch by himself (not that he hasn't been big enough, I just suspect the motivation hasn't been sufficient until now), so we are very proud of him.

Take a picture of your favorite place in your house that you're willing to put up for public consumption. :)

Thank you!

And yes, dogs always seem to want to be where you are, or where it smells like you. This dog used to sleep on piles of D.'s laundry when we lived together. It was pretty funny looking.

Aw, man, I'm going to have to clean! I should have thought of that...

Thank you! And if only he were truly mine, but he's only borrowed.
