A belated happy birthday to

I hope you get a chance to watch more, because I'd really like to hear your take on certain aspects of it, if I can be mysterious for the moment. :)

I want to watch more! I was going to last night, in fact, but then I remembered that I still have the last season of Six Feet Under to finish. (:

Well, yeah -- except it were the Ancients, back in The Return, that evacuated the Athosians to a nice new planet with a stargate. My guess is they never went back.
Also, I'm having a hard time connecting to the remaining [even Sam, who's my favorite character in the world] characters on SGA, and part of it is that I *know* they won't face the consequences of what happened to Elizabeth.

Aha. I had totally forgotten about that, and am relieved that they didn't just get dropped.

They all just seem so stuck in place; they never learn, they never grow. I'm pretty much dreading seeing Sam in that environment, and that might be what makes me stop watching.

I sort of half watch BW, and mostly because, yeah, Sarah Corvus is the most fun. Later last night I got an email from NBC to answer a questionnaire about my viewing habits last night (I get these periodically), so I answered all sorts of questions about BW--which characters I liked, who was most interesting, etc. :D

Excellent! It's definitely an unusual viewing experience, in a lot of different ways.

Why do I suspect they're getting a lot of feedback like that?

Your comments, especially about 01, are really interesting. I'd love to discuss meta with you, and I'm sure gwyn_r would as well. Do you have any other posts about CJ?

I haven't done any other posts yet, but I plan to. I'm really excited to meet someone else who's seen the show! I just finished the series this weekend, and am still in the "Whoa!" phase, and I have an out-of-town guest coming this weekend, so I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to pull something together. But I would love to talk more about it. I had guessed one particular meaning of 01's name that the show itself confirmed, so I was pretty pleased about that.
