I just started watching Charlie Jade, up to Episode Six now, and I am so relieved that I'm not just utterly failing to understand 'Owen Boxer'. It's a very interesting series so far, and although I have no idea where they're going with Rina, I'm following her arc with almost as much interest as Charlie and Boxer's.

I hope the series tells more about the C3s in Alphaverse, who are property? Who can own nothing? I had originally thought that the fancy apartment was Jasmine's, and that Charlie was her slightly lower-class lover, but now that it turns out it was his, and she was his employee, I'm wondering just what her job description was, and how he, in his scruffy clothes, could afford such a high-rise.

I think the show does a very good job of world-building for the Alphaverse, and it ended up answering most of the questions I had, but it dribbles the details out slowly.
