The main character in Toronto-based TV drama "The Listener" looks and even occasionally acts uncannily like ebenezer. It's kind of disturbing, but entertaining.

He's a paramedic telepath who fights crime/helps people in need.

Also, the scene in the first season of Burn Notice where Michael and Fiona finally hook up? Hawt. With the spy fighting sex and all.

I think most of the banking stuff is resolved. The only thing I still need to do is change the address when I move to my permanent address and cancel the old account.
