A week. It had been an entire week since Haseo had been dragged from his room after dinner and taken upstairs for experimentation. It wasn't until the staff had brought that dinner again that the Adept Rogue realized the complete significance of what he'd been trudging through all day- somehow, a full seven days had come and gone since then, and

He didn’t think it was completely random. Going through all these lengths to abduct them and then make sure they were guaranteed to step outside after the whole mental institute cover and have access to all sorts of improvised weapons didn’t strike him as a stroke of luck kinda thing.
The herb chicken dinner was probably the first full meal he’d had all day, Dean wolfing it down and not giving much of a damn if it there was a wussy little salad on the side; after breakfast with Sam getting crashed by the “angel” and then lunch with the Doctor, he hadn’t really had a chance to concentrate on getting much food packed away and even pulling a Sam with the salad suddenly didn’t seem that. It was a damn shame that the food here was so good. Didn’t exactly cancel out the rest of this joint’s bullshit but he had to admit he’d miss the food when they got out of here. Dean knew in the back of his mind that it was more of an if than a when (less of an if for him, but hey, Sam still ( ... )

McCoy thought Dean had seemed like a decent person, at least, from what little he'd seen, but he could be wrong. He preferred not having to assume there might be a worst in people in the first place. It didn't exactly make for healthy living. However, he'd seen enough before to know that was just wishful thinking. He should at least be prepared for the worst. With any luck, it would be nothing at all.
The doctor lifted a hand and knocked.

It was only a hallway over, but Endrance thought the distance between hallways was far too long. It might have been the fact that he was still a bit sniffly, but...no. It always seemed this long on nights like this. He'd learned to fear the worst and hope for the best.
But he still thought the walk between M12 and M4 was far too long. Nothing in the world was going to change that.
"Haseo...?", he called quietly, once close enough for it to be heard.

"Hey," he replied anyway, voice low, and briefly stopped with his weight shifted to one side as he glanced over the Blade Brandier's general state. The teen thought he seemed tired, maybe, but that... certainly wasn't unusual in a place like this. Not at all. With any luck, the dark circles under his own eyes would go unnoticed-- or rather, unremarked on. He had to remind himself that any changes in his demeanor were usually things Endrance could pick up on, whether he wanted it or not.
But if the other young man didn't say anything about it, Haseo had no intention of doing so either, and even subconsciously ( ... )

One single sneeze when he saw Haseo, and then Endrance had to shake that off, to try and look healthy even if he was far from that. He was tired, yes, but that didn't mean anything. This place would tire anyone out. The sneeze? Well, he just hoped Haseo would overlook that.
"Excuse me...and hello. Are you feeling all right?" Those dark circles under his eyes didn't go unnoticed, but Endrance didn't say more than that about them. There wasn't much to say about them. He couldn't blame Haseo for not wanting to sleep, given what this place had put him through. That would make anyone an insomniac for life, if they weren't already one.
...the kiss, from last night? Well...there wasn't much to say about that, either. Yes, Endrance liked it, yes, he wanted it to happen again, but the hallway was not the place. There were too many people about for such a...a private thing as that. He wasn't given to that particular kind of public display of affection, even if he was given to what was probably far more embarrassing in the end. It ( ... )

"Yeah, I guess," he answered promptly, followed by a sigh- the statement wasn't entirely true, of course, but Endrance would know and probably understand. The teenager pushed aside those thoughts though, focusing instead on the urgency that had gripped him since dinner had begun. Even though the rest of the building was just as dangerous, he wasn't really willing to spend much time in the bedroom blocks if he could help it.
"Come on," he said, and gestured briefly as he made for the larger hall leading out.

Once alone, Kurt slid out of bed and pulled out his uniform from the closet. He should get dressed and go find Logan, figure out if they were really going down to the basement tonight.

Not that it had taken him that long to find, but the whole hunt for M1 felt like an unnecessary detour. Next time, Logan decided, he'd maybe have Kurt meet him in the hall - except then there'd be something blue and scary in the hall, at night, when people knew there were monsters around.
Something had to be done about that. A note on the bulletin board, or - something. If he was going to do much at night, people had to know that Kurt wasn't one of the permanent residents. And if anybody had a problem with it, at least it would be out there. Besides, a good anti-mutant loudmouth jackass was kind of what Logan wanted for those increasingly frequent times when he felt like punching somebody.
He rapped his knuckles against the door. "Elf, you home? We gotta get movin'."

At the knock, Kurt looked up from clipping his belt together, ears perking. He hadn't been expecting--oh right, Logan!
"Coming!" Kurt called, bounding over to the door. He'd just finished putting on his uniform, so he was all set to go. He opened the door, grinning at Logan. "Sorry I didn't meet you halfway, I had to wait for my roommate to leave." He moved out into the hallway, since 'We gotta get movin'' seemed like Logan didn't want to come in for tea and coffee.
"So where are we going?"

Logan glanced at him questioningly - he had to wait for his roommate to leave? Well, whatever - before setting off down the hall. "First I gotta drop somethin' off," he said, hefting the pry bar in his non-flashlight hand, "and then I was planning on the basement, but I guess you heard the announcement. I'm thinkin' we're gonna try our luck upstairs."
It would be educational, anyway. He'd only been up there once.

Hey... There was an idea.
Grinning, Junpei decided he was a genius. There were a whole bunch of noobs running around tonight. At least one of them had to be a hot, clueless chick that was going to be stupid enough to wander around the place unarmed thinking she was all that and a bag of chips. He would so find this chick and be her night in shining... okay, the katana was shiny. Good enough.
Donning the Tigers baseball cap, he adjusted his jeans so they weren't completely hanging off his ass, and grabbed his sword and flashlight. Resting the blade on his shoulder he headed out. To do manly things. Cause he was da man.
