Dinner had been an altogether depressing affair - Tamaki's problems only seemed to underline what Seimei had said earlier about not relying on other people here. Ritsuka had hoped that perhaps he had been wrong, but if Adel was so easily turned against someone like Tamaki, then who could turn on Ritsuka? Or Seimei for that matter

"Seimei! They took him!" He couldn't believe it, but the fear of losing his brother - of finding a burnt corpse in his place - had him shaking. "I... I can't find him. I went to his room and he was gone."
The young boy reached forward and gripped the girl's shirt front in both hands. "Please - do you know where they take people at night?! I can't let them hurt him!"

He needed to find the morgue tonight. He had to examine the bodies it held. This business with raising the dead made him more and more curious about their methods.
But first, he would meet with Javert and find the pharmacy.
He stepped out into the hallway and glanced around, taking a moment to shine the light up and down it. Nobody was there, and he set off.

But the radio ... something special. Something hidden, in a place where the devout ... wait. There was a chapel here, wasn't there? He remembered - the patients, a few days ago, had been given the choice between there and the Sun Room. And then their captor had arrived to torment them. So there had to be something there! A key, maybe, or a detailed map.
With a renewed fire within him, Caim ripped his newly-acquired weapon out from under the bed, siezed his paper and a pencil, and stalked out of the room. He would find that hidden secret, and he would use it to escape from here. After he'd destroyed the man behind the intercom, of course.

Omi sighed. He had way too many questions and hardly any answers. It sucked.
He waited for Kurama to join him, and for the hallway to maybe start clearing out. He was still slightly uncomfortable after the interrogation, but showing things like that were just inviting closer prying. "Were those names anyone you knew?"

And the last part, more cryptic hints and directions. The first one, Kurama wasn't sure what Jack was getting at... where golden gods bleed the sweet wine of life? He'd have to think on that one. The second location was much easier. The devout knelt in the Chapel, though it was questionable whether it would be a good idea to go there. Youko wouldn't have hesitated, but Kurama was wary.
"Thankfully, no," Kurama replied to Omi's question. It seemed almost a little cruel to him, though. There were people being abducted, taken for whatever purpose, but Kurama had no urge to help them. He didn't know any of them, and there would probably be more than enough 'heroes' to go find them. Still, he felt a little ashamed for his lack of sympathy on the matter.

"It's not far from here, just out the door at the end of the hall. And there's two exits from the field, if we happen to get into trouble. It's probably the safest place to look right now if we want something to fight with."
Everything considered, most of the 'forces' of the building were going to be situated at the front door and at least the Chapel, since Jack had pointed it out so clearly. As out of the way as the shed was and considering that there were no brainwashed patients like last time, it seemed likely that it might be unguarded. Or at the very most, poorly guarded.

He picked up the flashlight and picked up three or four pens, tucking them away. They wouldn't be useful as weapons unless it was against an unarmed patient. Soujirou had full confidence in his ability to drive one home in the neck or eye, however. While it wouldn't do against a monster either, they were certainly better than being unarmed. His fingers could only dig so far into a skull for minimal damage.
Soujirou nodded to himself, twice, while in the doorway of his room before heading out into the hallway. Once again he picked a direction at random and began to walk. Eventually he'd meet something interesting. Or someone.

The dark hallway was now practically deserted and he didn't bother turning on the flashlight. He wasn't worried about heading out all alone, it was the preferred method of action for him. But it was different than having a team behind his back and for that reason alone he kept his steps measured and calm, gazing upon the people he countered with curious eyes.

He blinked and turned on the flashlight. Was that a person? He pushed the button on the light and moved closer.
