Haku paused here and frowned at the hallway. There weren't as many people out is seemed. It was early....and yet.... he shook his head. He was still worried about the strange disappearance of his roommate.
And that whole Trial thing was still on his mind. He hadn't heard his Master's false or true name called, so Haku assumed He was alright.
After going through the door Hisoka found himself in yet another identical hall, but this time he had more of an idea of where to go. This was the route he took during the day, when the nurse was hovering obnoxiously nearby, and it wasn't hard to guess where to go...
The whole block must of been nothing but patient rooms. He refused to think of how many patients must have been housed within these walls to have need of so many.
Hisoka kept walking, the faint outline of the door to what he hoped to be his destination growing steadier with each footstep closer. Hopefully Tsuzuki hadn't gotten impatient and wandered off...
No sign of Cletus Kasady. Strange. Eddie Brock would've expected to see the other Host prowling the halls, but it was possible he'd slept in. Or just went ahead. Fine; they didn't need another to hunt successfully and it beat having to fight over the scraps and risking injury over who got that last chunk of bleeding brains. Besides, if he did get some kind of food poisoning from trying to feed from a non-human, he'd rather suffer alone then have someone saying I-told-you-so.
Moving down the halls, Brock avoided what few patients he could see roaming their lengths. His Other, by now, was wide awake and, as usual, taking the backseat driver's approach, hitching a ride and making minor adjustments in their shared body to make. It, as well, as also curious about what was in the Chapel - where the devout kneel, which translated to a place of human worship - and they both had to recall a thrilled shudder remembering the last similiar place they'd been in. Alfons checked the hall, breathing a sigh of relief as he noticed there were no monsters. That was good; he didn't have his knife anymore, and he doubted that he could take on any of the creatures if he was caught. So, best to keep moving for now; he could take a break when he arrived at Edward's room. For now? Now he needed to hurry.
After taking a moment's breath, Alfons started heading into the first M-block, where he knew that Edward and Fox were likely both waiting for him. Alfons just hoped that they hadn't decided to move on without him; he was slower than them both, he knew, but that didn't mean that he was completely useless. He hoped.
