Nothing in here either. Snow was starting to wonder if maybe Badou had been exaggerating when he said all of the staff turn into monsters. The place'd probably be crawling with Cie'th if that were really the case, or maybe they were all off in another part of the building. At least there wasn't anyone getting attacked or anything yet.

She turned the corner, flicking her flashlight up and down the hall, just in case any vampires might be lurking. So far, so good. And no sneaky ceiling spiders either. But just like last night, there was Haine, wandering the halls. Maybe his room was near Rit-chan's? That was kind of lucky, wasn't it?
"Ah- Haine-san!" she called out, her grip loosening slightly on the bat as she took a few steps closer. Even if Badou joked about carrying around a rolled up newspaper, Haine had never seemed all that misbehaved to her. Quiet and maybe a little abrasive, but Kyo's temperament was at least that bad.

Having the ring to show his friends only made Sora that much more aware of how glad he was to have Riku and Kairi here. Seeing Donald had also made him realize it. If it was between them being here with him or in Donald's position, then Sora knew what all of them would prefer. Even Riku had to agree that Kairi was better off here than out in that fake world, right?
It wasn't something Sora necessarily wanted to bring up in that way, since he didn't want to fight about it or even consider the possibilities too much, but he couldn't get the thought out of his head completely.
He was just glad that they'd decided to all meet up tonight, since the previous night had left him pretty worried by the end of it. He was fine with them all going off and doing their own thing, so long as it was planned, and last night hadn't been. Still, any chance he got to spend with his two friends was fine by him.
And he was almost there! Turning to the right, Sora headed down the hall toward the stairs, as usual.

Edgar gave his shoulder a cursory rotation as they stepped into the southern hall. It didn't feel good, and neither would crossing the wall, but the shorter path involved less risk than traversing the halls and larger rooms.
"I'll manage," he answered. "I'd rather take my chances with my shoulder than with what could be lingering above the Sun Room. If what I saw before happened to be in there... well, I expect it would tear us to ribbons before we could make it halfway through the room, given our current state."

"I've had enough of being shredded for the week," he replied. "Recreational field it is."

So the place wasn't a ghost town! Glancing over the other patients who were lingering around in this part of the hall, Zack made sure to check for anyone he knew. As it turned out, he was surrounded by strangers, but that was no problem. He hadn't run out of places to look for Cloud yet, although he had to admit he was getting kind of close. He could always round the corner and then go up the other side, but hopefully it wouldn't come to that.
And... wait, was that a kid he saw? Definitely looked like one, and Zack almost felt like he should go over and talk to the boy. But then he remembered the last time he'd gotten tied up with a brat, and he thought better of it. He had someone to meet, anyway.
Cloud wouldn't leave him hanging; that was one thing Zack felt he could be almost sure of. He was used to heading for the stairs by now, but lots of people also waited around there, so maybe that's where his friend was. It was worth a shot, anyway, and so Zack continued in that direction.

It really was nice having his cell so close to the hall exit. He could make it to this hall quite easily that way. It sure was depressing thinking of his room as a "cell." It certainly felt like one. And to think, he originally thought of this place as a refuge from death row. After hearing and seeing a few of the horrible things that transpired in this place, Gant had a hard time thinking of this place in terms any tamer than hell.
He rushed onward. He didn't want to spend another minute longer in here than necessary.
