This was where his skill with stalking people came in handy; Matt crept along as quietly as he could, relieved to see that the hallways still seemed to be pretty empty. He liked this turn of events. It put him at ease as he strode determinedly down the hall, images of his mental map of the ground floor of Landel's running through his

It didn't take too long for Snow to slow in his tracks. Whoooa. Old technology was fine and all, but he wasn't expecting it to be so dark. Would it kill them to turn on a light? Or maybe this was part of slowing people down so they couldn't escape. It's hard to leave when you can't find the door.
Hard to see any monsters that might be wandering around, too. Heh. If that was the way they wanted to play it, Snow was fine with that. A little darkness wasn't going to stop him. NORA had done plenty of night patrol before. Yeah, it wasn't in anything this dark, but he still knew how to listen for monsters moving around. Nothing was going to catch him off guard.
Now then. This looked like it was just a straight hallway. Nothing complicated. He could manage this. He followed it all the way down, but it didn't look like there was any sign of anything yet. Looked like there was a door here, though. Alright, let's go!

Kirk navigated the hallway without his light, but stopped right before the exit out of the patient block, discomforted by the silence and emptiness of his surroundings. He knew of course that he was early getting out - the halls would soon fill with the echoing of footsteps as other prisoners moved out to meet their friends - and it wasn't as if Kirk was afraid of the dark, but... even so. He remembered the giant amphibious creature (creatures?) which had ambushed him just outside a block. As familiar as the patient hallways were, they could hardly be considered safe areas.
His right hand was still tender from when he'd stupidly thrown a punch at the metal door of his room, so Kirk grabbed his flashlight with his left instead, flicking it on one-handed. Four hallways, the bathroom behind him, and the exit. No monsters. Good thing too, as he'd lost his only decent weapon last night, but at least luck was always something he had in abundance.
Kirk pointed the light ahead, and moved out.

In spite of his unsettling meeting during the visitor shift, there was still certain comfort in seeing his friend, even a different version of him. Or maybe it was just seeing this man. After all, they'd both been here together long enough - and been through enough - to have become friends in their own right.
"Bones," said Kirk, and while some of the tension dropped from his shoulders, he still stood in the doorway as if his feet might carry him away at any moment. The seconds spent dawdling here could make all the difference in determining if Chekov was okay, but... even so, curiosity held him in place.
Try the Enterprise, Jim. Like hell, he could ignore that name ( ... )

Before long, von Karma reached the junction leading to this patient block's exit. He saw no one around, but then again, it was still rather early this evening. It was just as well, as he wanted to arrive at the agreed meeting point before any dangers could present themselves. Wasting not a single second, he opened the door and entered the larger hallway.

Excitement was rushing through Ammy's head. Perhaps getting used to this human form was easier than she imagined. After all, the goddess had made it all this way on her own without any help at all!
So overcome with a mixture of emotions, she nearly forgot to check the map again.
Takashi's room was M60 - straight ahead. She counted two other halls before reaching it. Her heart was hammering in her chest as she made the final turn.

Normally, Mori didn't stop when he was on his way to Mitsukuni's room, but tonight was somewhat special. Although they'd only met once during the day, Mori was never able to forget someone's scent, especially if that person made an impression on him. And someone like Amaterasu-Ookami? Yeah, she made an impression.
He made the turn into the main hall just as she was about to turn into Honey's and felt his heart jump at the sight of her. It wouldn't be proper to let her get to the room before him, especially since this was her first night! Picking up the pace, Mori jogged after her and caught her just as she started up the next hall.
"Amaterasu-sama," he said by way of greeting, slowing down as he caught up.

By instinct, Amaterasu let out a snarl and spun around, her body immediately dropping into a combative stance. But as the owner of the voice got closer, she saw it was none other than Takashi himself. Ammy quickly straightened up and clasped her hands over her mouth, an unfamiliar heat flooding her cheeks.
"S-s-sorry!" she stammered. "Sur . . . S-surprised."
Hadn't he said his room was M60? Her mind ran over their conversation at brunch and the notices posted on the bulletin board. They were supposed to meet here, weren't they? Had she gotten lost? Was she mistaken?
Amaterasu suddenly remembered something the human had said and it suddenly made much more sense.
"Mitsukuni is in M60. Me, M61."
She had gotten their rooms mixed up. It was nothing big, but she felt rather idiotic now. The goddess's head lowered; if her lupine ears had been present, they would have flattened against her skull.
". . . W-was . . . . w-wrong place?"

Mori relaxed, leaning his makeshift staff against his shoulder again as he bowed to her. She seemed a bit confused and almost...defeated in a way. Kind of like how an animal looked after being scolded. But that was just silly, right? Goddesses didn't have animalistic natures unless they were actually animals.
Shaking his head, Mori motioned up the hallway and took a few steps forward, offering her his arm.

"Shut up," was all Sechs could say into the darkness at his poisonous passenger. Hearing his own voice cackling and hissing away at him inside his head was still aggravating to no end. It was too bad he couldn't just plug his ears to drown out the voice...
"Just when I thought you couldn't have shown yourself to be any dumber!" the shadow snapped, giving its host a painful squeeze inside his spine. "You can't even figure out if that bitch who visited you was real or not! Always running around with questions but never finding answers! Hell, you don't even know if you're really Sechs or 'Cody'!"
"Shut up! I KNOW I'm Sechs!" the Replica snarled through gnashing teeth, "You saying you know more than me or something?!" he demanded, not caring if he looked like he was talking to himself, "How could you?! You're just some stupid drug concoction made up by a crazy sadistic bastard! You're nothing!"
"Well, let's put it this way, clone..." the drug hissed, putting cruel emphasis on the last word. It sent Sechs doubling over ( ... )
