As the intercom clicked on, one could almost hear a very new, very faint sound emanating from it, and that was the high-pitched whine and scratchy voices on a television. The extra noise was cut short, however, when the Head Doctor seemed to realize he had left his television program on and turned it off so that he could make his announcement

As it was, however, he quietly ate his dinner and even brushed his teeth, remarkably subdued for him. Whether his room mate showed up or not didn't really matter unless the man was the bleeding heart sort, and Xigbar rather guessed that wasn't the case. Instead, it was only in preparation for the night ahead.
Ironic, that he'd be taking the threat of another Nobody so seriously, when he just laughed off what the Head Doctor was attempting to do.

His roommate seemed unusually subdued compared to the night before, though Hakkai would grudgingly admit that during the previous night's dinner shift, he had been... somewhat less than completely coherent.
Ah well, no matter. The doors would unlock soon enough, then he'd be off to meet with Sanzo. With luck, the coming night would be more productive than the last one.

A pause, then he glanced over at the other man. The dogs had sure done a number on him. Yet it seemed like he was doing all right anyway. A sniper always noticed little details like that, and it told Xigbar that if X wanted to do in the Somebody, then there wouldn't be much that guy could do.
"So if you want any of the dirty little secrets I've started to collect, now would be the time to ask." Even though he said all of that, though, his tone and features were nothing but teasing, almost as though he was enjoying himself.

"I see. And do you have any plans to stop this from happening? Or are you planning on just waiting for your fate?" Hakkai's tone made it clear that he felt both were viable options, although the second was a rather silly one. Still, far be it from him to make value judgments about others.
He picked half-heartedly at his dinner. Honestly, was a vegetarian meal so difficult. "Ah, and perhaps we got off on a bad foot last night. I'm Cho Hakkai." He laughed softly. "Although, if you plan on allowing yourself to be 'done in' soon, I'll be getting a new roommate anyway."

It did, however, make him a bit more quiet than he normally was. He knew that his room mate would probably want to talk a little, and that would be fine, but... at the same time, Alfons was trying to think of everything that was going on. There was his trip to try to take care of Edward, and then there was all of the stuff with Vergil and Fox, and Miku, and... and he still wanted to prove himself useful to Maes, to be worthy of the man's time and investment. So much to think about and mull over, he hoped he wouldn't be bad company.
...then again, perhaps he would have to be a little more active. He now knew what happened when Hikaru was bored and had an opportunity to tease.

Coming into the room he shared with Alfons, the Host acknowledged his roommate with a grin and a nod before starting in on the food. It really wasn't that bad, and he was starving!

But that didn't mean that he couldn't at least enjoy the company. "I'm glad to see that you're feeling better," he offered, trying to fight back the mental images of three very naked boys and what had happened.

The teenager started shoveling food into his mouth. Western food was pretty good when done well, but it was toxic when done badly, as he had found on several international flights with JAL. When they stuck to Japanese food, it was some of the best airline food in the world...but when they tried Western...
Luckily, this was quite tasty. "I found Kaoru," he said around a mouthful of potato, "Got to make fun of Milord a bit, talked to Ritsuka some...it was productive afternoon."

While beef brisket really wasn't his thing food was food, and Axel wasn't the type of person to be complaining too much on the matter. Cutting off a piece of the meat, he smeared it over his mashed potatoes before popping it all in his mouth ( ... )

So he was a little woozy as the nurse escorted him into his room, and released him with a little pat on the shoulder. "I hope you get a good rest, Mr. Pritchett," she cooed as Ashton swayed into the room. He didn't even acknowledge her, but waved a tired hello to Axel as he sat down on his bed and took a enormous and rather unladylike bite of cornbread.
It tasted like heaven.
He chewed it for an unnaturally long time, swallowed, and raised his eyebrows at his roommate. "It's been quite a day. What's with your friends?"
Reply
"They're not my friends." Axel sighed when Ashton finally spoke, licking the tips of his fork before waving it enthusiastically in the air. "Or at least Luxord isn't, I'm only partial with Xigbar at the moment."
Despite their friendly conversation back at lunch, the redhead knew better than to trust the man that easily. Until he made damn sure that his back wasn't going to be knifed Axel would continue to keep his guard up.
"What I want to know is why you're suddenly so popular with them."

He giggled, stuffed another bite of cornbread in his mouth. "Buh fen agen.." - swallowing, taking a drink of water - "Er, sorry. Um. But then again, guys er't like that before the dragons, so.. it's probably because of you. Xigbar only drew close to me when he'd heard you were my roommate." He shrugged, dropped the cornbread to wipe his mouth and take a big long gulp of water. "Unless it's custom where you're from to kiss the messenger boy."

Unlike certain other patients in this facility, Albel wasn't one to complain about the food here. Even though some it of was foreign to him, he had much worse.
Albel didn't really care whether his roommate would show up or not. At least it would leave him some time in peace. Though, up 'till now, the worm wasn't as annoying as the other scum around here.
After he had finished his dinner, he continued to brush his teeth. There wasn't much else he could do now anyway. At least not until the doors unlocked.

Instead he sat down and started eating his food. Conversation did not seem to be his roommate's strong point, and thus did not even bother to start any.

Xemnas seated himself at his desk after he had been left alone with his dinner. Though not too fond of beef brisket, the Superior wasn't one to complain about such trivial matters. He ate silently and brushed his teeth right after. Dental care, how...considerate of them.
He didn't knew whether his roommate would show up this evening, but kept his amber eyes on the door nonetheless. The Nobody couldn't help but to be curious at the person he'd be sharing his room with.
After making sure his teeth were clean enough, he reached for the journal on his desk. There weren't many preparations to be made for the coming night. All that was left to do now was waiting for VII to arrive once the doors had been unlocked.
Flipping the journal open, he started writing.
