Night 43: F31-F40 Hallway
Meche was up and ready to go as soon as the door clicked open--the sooner she got there, the sooner they could start. She double-checked the map one more time, said goodbye to Donna and headed out, feeling better about that prospect than she ever had before. Her heels clicked reassuringly as she hurried down the hall, sounding fast and confident.
This would be an easy trip: just down the hall to the larger corridor, turn the corner and head up the next hallway until she hit F22. Not much chance of getting lost or running into danger along the way, Meche thought. It should be a monster-free night. She was more than ready for one of those, even if she did feel a little like a mom crashing the slumber party.
Well, then again, not too many sleepovers included spear lessons.
