Honey's tummy was growling loudly by the time he was finished talking with Tsubaki. It'd been an eventful morning, but he was glad to see that his friends were safe. The nurse led him to the line and he filled up his tray with as many sweet-imitations as he could. Fruit, juice, pancakes, whipped cream, muffins, the works. But when he got out of

The sugar was a godsend and Honey planned on enjoying every last bite. With how rarely it came around in this institution, he had to wolf it down in huge portions when they had it. Honey did not like being cranky, nor did he want to be if he could help it. Some times were harder than others. Right now though, with sweet cake-like food in his mouth and sitting next to his best friend, he was perfectly happy.

He could feel the nurses watching them and since he still had an arm in a sling, he knew they'd get all huffy if he tried to do anything else. He really didn't get why people thought he was so fragile though. Glancing down, Mori noted what was on Mitsukuni's tray and watched the rate at which he was eating. Soon enough, Mori would be putting the waffles he'd picked up on Mitsukuni's tray, but not yet. Arranging his egg on his toast, he was about to start eating when a thought struck him. "How was last shift?"

Having done his time with the nurse and a plate of food, he was released to the wider world and went straight for Honey and Mori, hugging his little friend from behind.
"I love you guys," he grinned. Nothing could ruin his mood. "Everything's good again."

But he didn't entirely mind, either. At least there were other people here, and he could absorb himself in a nice normal routine while he tried to figure out who to talk to. Besides, at least he knew something now: even if he couldn't trust the windows, they were probably on Earth. The food was of a better quality than one could usually get in space. That didn't tell him a whole lot, though, and he was still determined to get other patients' perspectives ( ... )

He might have normally waited or at least asked for an invitation first, but the situation was a little different now. Besides, this guy looked a little troubled. Lockon didn't want to risk the possibility that he'd try to push people away in order to brood in solitude. That never did anyone any good (except when Lockon himself did it, of course).
"Yo," he said, lifting a hand in greeting as he placed the tray down. "He's not a toy, but...it looks like he might as well be, for now." He looked down at Haro wistfully. "The nurse I spoke to said I'd be allowed to keep him for 'therapeutic value.' I'm not sure what she meant." A beat, and he added somewhat sheepishly, "I just woke up in this place."

Still, Kenshin looked sad, and like he was trying to mask it. Kaoru straightened her shoulders, and drew in a breath. "Kenshin...!" she called and put her hands on his shoulders, before looking at the other man. "I'm sorry for interrupting, I was looking for him."

To make matters worse, the woman guided her into the cafeteria, despite her insistence that she bbe allowed outside. A plate of food was set down in front of her, the scent making her feel a little ill, but the nurse admonished her to eat. She began to pick at it, moving it around on her plate more than anything.
