Cursing yet another pen's attempt to make everything she touched marked with ink, Sheena wiped as much of the ink off her fingers as she could. Thankfully, since she hadn't eaten much, she still had half her glass of water to help remove to offending ink and some dry sheets to soak up the water before she touched Yukari's ribbons. She stared at them a long moment as she pondered whether she should bring them with her tonight or not. Sure, she'd told Yukari to dress to impress, which kind of meant she'd need her ribbons, but Sheena was technically holding them ransom.
Folding them carefully, Sheena tucked them into her obi where she wouldn't lose them nor would they be seen to roaming youkai eyes. Roaming youkai eyes... No! She needed to NOT think about her near molestation in the showers earlier! She was Mizuho! She could handle a non-naked youkai.
Sitting on her bed, Chise couldn't help but stare at the open closet in front of her. She had absolutely no idea how to remove the pole from the top. Firstly, she didn't have enough strength to pull it off; and secondly...she couldn't come up with anything. The only thing she could do right now is wait for the man to drop off his flashlight, and maybe then she could ask him to pull out the closet pole.
F3... still closed. Evangeline rapped loudly on the door, heedless of the people in the hall around her. She didn't really have a plan, but she was pretty sure she wasn't going to do anything she needed to avoid witnesses for... though for her, that category included acts of unfettered kindness as well as violence.
Though if there was a roommate, it might be slightly awkward.
Not another one of those late night visits. Last night there was this little girl who was looking for her friend. She cried a lot, kind of like Chise. Kagura rolled out of bed and followed her roomie to the door.
"We're not buying anything, we don't owe you anything and no, we don't know any Onihimes," she said without even looking at the person by the door.
Sousuke led Rey down the familiar hallways swiftly with the expertise of someone extensively trained in infiltration. He made sure to stay in every shadow, check every hallway before entering it, and pause to listen for noise. His footfalls barely made any sound at all.
At the same time, though, Sousuke watched Rey very carefully. He didn't know the young man very well, but he felt confident about his ability to stand up to a large, unwieldy weapon. He made sure to stay close to Rey, allowing the other young man little room to swing the sword should he desire to suddenly attack Sousuke.
Fortunately, it was early enough in the night that there didn't seem to be many dangers in the hallways, and the trip was made in little time. He rapped on Miku's door, standing at Rey's side.
"It's me, Miku," Sousuke called. "And another person."

Rey didn't miss the way Sousuke moved--or his position to his own. He wasn't offended, however. If anything, it was good to see that his roommate didn't blindly trust him. Otherwise, Rey would've doubted the man's capabilities. Though perhaps that wasn't the right word, as one could be trusting while still being talented.
He stopped when his roommate did, and waited with a neutral expression on his face. He was feeling on edge, not because of whomever they were meeting, but because of what lay out ahead of them tonight.
Into the unknown, he thought, inwardly smiling. Isn't that how the future always is?
Sure enough, using her chakra became much easier once the night began. She pulled open the syringe, a soft energy now emanating from her hands before it moved to explore what remained of the chemicals inside of the tiny object. Even simple analysis was taking a lot more concentration than usual. It was annoying as hell.
Someone knocked at the door, and she looked up from her work to glance at Miku, but the voice that called knew her name and the girl did seem like she'd been waiting for someone. Something about it was strange though, so she did her best to divide her attention and still maintain enough focus to analyze the chemicals. She had to give Javert a thorough report after all. And knowing Naruto and Jiraiya, she'd have plenty of time before they arrived.
Miku smiled and nodded at Sakura, and pushed herself off her bed, slipping into her shoes and tapping the toebox against the floor to make sure they fit. As she'd gotten thinner, the worry that her feet were becoming more narrow struck her. It was a good thing she promised to eat again, Sousuke wouldn't be giving her a death glare. She smoothed her miniskirt made sure her stockings were straight. Her white shirt remained buttoned up, though her undershirt peeked out from the last few open buttons.
But, something strange was happening as neared the door: her head was beginning to throb, ever so insistently. Miku opened the door to let Sousuke see her. "Good evening, Sousuke," she smiled warmly at him, and then at the young man behind him. "A new friend?" Miku asked politely, feeling her her brain buzz uncomfortably.
Rangiku waved goodbye to Taura and then went to retrieve her own things. The sash and the sword and the key. She was determined to find where that thing went tonight, even if it killed her. The lack of success was frustrating enough, but having it so close to her was making her seethe. She took a moment to force herself to calm down and then set off into the corridors.

Dinner had been rather quiet for the last half, with the kind of quiet that was almost a tangible presence in the room. Ayumu wasn't exactly upset that she and her roommate weren't the best of friends - the person Sen was supposed to be really wouldn't get along with someone like Yuffie, and she still regarded the girl with quite a bit of suspicion despite her apparent friendship with Okita. However, it did make for a somewhat tense living environment during the short time they were forced to spend together

Sheena kept telling herself that.

"H-hello," she greeted the blond girl. "Is there something you need?"
[ooc: Armand, feel free to pop in at any time to quickly drop off the flashlight]
