There were more people out in this hallway, which meant the chances of getting pounced upon, as he had last night, were higher. Endrance moved through it quickly, not stopping to speak to anyone or even make eye contact.
So last time he went left when he'd come out of this door. This time, he went right, since the female rooms were around the corner that way. Junpei had no desire to be late.
Gin crept out into the main hallway, careful of who passed and who might be watching. It wouldn't take him long to reach the meeting point, but it was no reason for him to let his guard down.
Exiting out into this hall was normal, of course, but what was different was that he got to turn left instead of right this time. It wasn't a huge change, but at least he didn't get to go on auto-pilot for once. (Although that function in the gummi ship had definitely been a lifesaver at times...)
Glancing around, he saw two older men talking. Their faces looked familiar and they seemed pretty casual in the hallway, so Sora was betting they were more than used to nightshift by now.
As he moved along, he wondered where Allen was coming from, and who would get to the field first. It was silly to turn everything into a competition, but growing up alongside Riku had instilled some of that in him. He continued up the hall, knowing he'd be there in no time.
