Tyki casually glanced around for monster activity as he stepped into the next hallway. There were patients nor monsters around, but he hadn't really expected otherwise anyway. After discarding some of the ash from his cigarette on the floor, he headed for the double doors on his right.

Ding, ding, ding! Another hallway! Congratulations, Junpei Iori! You just won an all expenses paid trip to wherever the hell your subconscious is taking you! Come on down and pick up your prize!

Junpei opened the door to see what was on the other side

Spider emerged from the empty hall to find himself in ... another empty hall.

For a hallucination, none of this was particularly exciting so far. He'd managed to ruin a shirt, put on a coat, and punch a wall. A pretty tame evening, all things considered. He wondered when he would sober up. The world wouldn't just sit there and wait for the drugs to get out of his system, after all. He slapped himself hard across the cheek. Nothing changed. He was going to be in this for a while. Might as well make the best of it.

Wielding his flashlight like a mace, he turned towards the open door to his right and started running again.

Soubi was cautious, making sure to be ready for any rats.

Oh, of course. Kio had been afraid of Demyx. He looked to his friend, smiling again. "How was your day, Kio?" he asked. "Are you making friends?" Finally he could get revenge for Kio nagging him when they first met!

"I'm looking forward to the band getting started."

Demyx, for his own part, didn't have the slightest bit of insight into why Kio seemed to be acting weird. And there was no doubt he was; Nobodies were good at picking out emotions, after all, Demyx in particular since he used other people's reactions to help determine how he should be pretending to feel. After all, Kio had told him on the bulletin board that he hadn't been scared of Demyx yesterday, so what was wrong now...?

Well, he wasn't as indirect as Soubi. Instead of assuming he knew what was the matter, or working around the subject, he gave Kio a worried look. "What's wrong?"

Things seemed to be going well enough. Though Kio lacked enthusiasm, at least he was talking about his friends. Although...he did leave ONE of them out. Intentionally? Soubi was going to ask for more, but Demyx piped up and... Kio reacted.

He was still afraid.

"I'm offended you think it'd be that easy to defeat me, Kio," he looked at his friend with something new to his expression. Kio was used to Soubi's worry, but never worry about Kio himself. Always about Ritsuka. And before Ritsuka? Soubi had been nothing but confident. And a little dead inside.

"I'm sorry," he smiled to Demyx. "Your sort of power isn't seen in our world..." And, looking back to Kio, "It's nothing to fear," he said, sincerely.

[ From here]There had been too many sounds along the way for Godot to believe he was alone, yet he still found the presence of others in the hall noteworthy. Three men in a group, though it seemed their harmony was as solid as a man's who had drunken himself silly on 253 blends of grape juice playing piano. He'd leave them to their argument then; what he needed was a solid witness, one who was credible, and preferably with evidence in their corner ( ... )

Still rubbing the back of his head, Matt led the way out into the hall. Of course he knew the way to M20. Anyone who'd been out of their room once or twice should be able to figure out the layout of the patient blocks easily enough.

He also didn't like the idea of Sano walking behind him where he could easily hit him again, but he didn't want to mention this and give the figher any ideas. It was only a block down.
