[From

It was a ways off in the dark, but she could just make out a small patch of light further down in the center of the hall, presumably streaming in from the Sun Room's glass ceiling. She didn't see anything yet, but there was no telling when something might suddenly jump out at

Prospects didn't look so good off to the right, so Teisel tried his luck going left. If he remembered right, and he was pretty sure he did, there was another intersection down there that he'd passed by the last couple times he'd been here.
The new hallway led back in the direction he'd come from, so maybe he was on the right track after all. There was no harm in trying.

This open area was probably the worst part for him. Armand kept close to the wall, where the nurse's station was during the day. At night it was locked tight. He'd heard a rumor of people finding keys, but he didn't want to see in there, not after having seen what the nurses turned into with his own eyes two trips to town ago.
These thoughts weren't helping Armand hurry, but he was almost there now. He felt the air from the next hallway before actually stepping into it.

Through the haze of his anger, it suddenly hit Depth Charge that the reason the his torch's beam wouldn't stay still was that he was shaking all over.
Muttering curses at himself, he leaned heavily against a wall for a moment as he tried to collect himself. But he was too restless to stay still to long, too agitated. The hot fury surging its way through his muscles left him with an unbearable desire for release. Like a man possessed he stumbled jerkily into the hallway, staring about him with a desperate wildness but finding nothing. The hallway was empty.
For a moment he kept walking, as though the answer would materialise in front of him, even backtracking to the door he'd passed, but it was locked. What was he looking for anyway? X?
"You stupid spawn-of-Unicron..." he hissed. The words started softly but soon took on a life of their own, contorting into an ugly, strangled gurgle. "I hope you burn in the Pit, you slagger, I hope you burn!"
But words just weren't enough. He needed release. Suddenly, in one fluid ( ... )

Siegfried had almost arrived at the main hallway when he heard someone shout as though they were being attacked. Without thinking, he speeded up into a run, intending on helping those in trouble.
He reached the hallway just in time to see a man fall back against the wall with a broken bat in hand. He quickly searched the surrounding area, looking for any sign of a monster, but found none. There was nothing in the hallway aside from other patients.
Siegfried approached the man slowly, coming to a stop a little distance away from him before he spoke.
“Next time, wait until there is a monster around if you want to hit something.”

"Mind your own slagging business!" he snarled, aiming the full glare of his frustration at the newcomer. Despite the aggression, his voice sounded strange; to his horror, he realised that he couldn't stop his voice from trembling with the force of his emotions, however chaotic they were. What the Pit is wrong with me?! Infuriated, he tried again, this time deepening his tone to a menacing growl. "Who the frag are you?"
It didn't work.

He spoke calmly and matter-of-factly. “I’m afraid that if you’re going to wander the Institute in your current state, then you’re then you’re going to get picked out very easily.” A broken weapon would be useless, and Siegfried doubted the man could concentrate on a fight whilst so furious.
He continued on, this time answering the man’s question. “I’m Siegfried, and you are..?”

He'd managed to haul ass out the patient block before he had to rest.
Sanzo leaned against the wall. This wasn't going to be as fast as he'd expected. The wound on his stomach sent throbs of pain - warnings of what could get a lot worse - with each step. Maybe he didn't feel as light-headed as he had that night in the morgue, but he wasn't recovering as fast as he should have in this place. What the hell had happened?
He took a long drag, more of an attempt to calm his nerves. It only partially worked. If - when he finally tracked Landel down, he needed to get the full details out of him about what happened. Sanzo needed to know just how painful the fucker's death needed to be.

Kon was still humming to himself as he entered the next, more populated
hall. He was about to head straight for the stairs he'd found last night when he spotted a familiar figure to the side. It was that guy he'd been talking to earlier in the game room - Sanzo.
He didn't look so hot, the way he was leaning on the wall and though he could just be waiting for someone else, Kon figured he'd go over and check on him. The guy was stand-offish enough most people might avoid him on principle and if he was in trouble then Kon couldn't just keep walking.
"Hey man," He walked over, reaching out to touch Sanzo's shoulder. "You OK?"

Hmph. Him again.
Sanzo straightened up, and folded his arms into his robes. Bad enough Kenren had seen him like this. He wasn't about to let anyone else see this weakness.
The monk frowned at him. "I'm fine. What the hell are you doing here?"
It was hard to believe Kid was actually coming up to him after the shit he'd given him earlier.

"Sure, I'll bet you're just fine," Kon answered sarcastically. He couldn't be sure but it really didn't look like Sanzo was fine. Even though Sanzo had gone all stiff when Kon turned up he still got the feeling something was not OK. He wondered if Mr highest-ranked-priest was used to people worrying about him except in a 'you're important to the religion' kind of way. Just another reason to stick around, besides if he did he might get to see what powers Sanzo had and that would be awesome. No matter what he might have said before.
"They let us out at night, or didn't you notice?" Kon grinned playfully and puffed his chest out. "I'm finding a way outta here. What are you doing?"

If she remembered correctly, this night was one for special counseling. A part of her hoped none were in the Sun Room. Yet, the other part of her did. It would be best if there weren't any. As much as she needed to kill something, she'd prefer it to be Martin Landel and not a brainwashed pawn.
