[from here] Light. Light was good. Light let her see. Maybe now Falis could figure out where in the fucking building she was.
Stepping out into the hallway, she looked up at the moonlight filtering down from the ceiling and nodded. Okay, this was the walkway the vultures circled the ones in the Sun Room below. As Falis moved to the railing to look down into the room, she nodded to herself again. She remembered passing through this part during the day when she'd been taken to the place where King God was apparently worshiped. Not that she'd ever seen this King God person anyways. A ruler should at least show up when people decide to pay homage in some central place. It was fucking proper and shit.
So, if this was above the Sun Room, then to her right was the front of the building and to the left was the back, where the chapel was. Okay, now there should be some stairs going down back toward the right. She started to turn back toward where those stairs should be when she paused, eyes focused on the room below. She knew her strength was less here than normal, which was a fucking inconvenience, but maybe she was still strong and agile enough to make the jump down from here to the Sun Room below.
Shame... she didn't see Fido lurking around. Though, that was probably a good thing given the bounty hunter was currently unarmed. Though the thought of the challenge made her eyes spark a moment.
