Because of this, she felt the wall end and a hallway to the left. Turning down it, again missing stairs on the opposite side of the hallway, Falis continued to move along the left-hand wall. With her right as her dominant hand, she naturally gravitated to the left, keeping her sword arm clear of obstacles. Shame she didn't have a sword.
The first door she came to was locked and, instead of kicking it down, she moved on. Now that she put the time into thinking about it, passage from one place to the patient blocks usually weren't barred by locked doors. Locked doors were used to keep people out. Hmm...
The second door she came to was unlocked. Falis paused to listen before quietly opening it and slipping inside.
