Night 37: West Wing, Hall 2-A

When without a light, prey followed along the edge of the area they were in. Falis did not like to think of herself as prey, ever, but a hunter knew where the trails lay. It was with this knowledge that she also moved along the wall. If she were to come across something lying in wait, it would be against a wall and she would have cover on one side.

Because of this, she felt the wall end and a hallway to the left. Turning down it, again missing stairs on the opposite side of the hallway, Falis continued to move along the left-hand wall. With her right as her dominant hand, she naturally gravitated to the left, keeping her sword arm clear of obstacles. Shame she didn't have a sword.

The first door she came to was locked and, instead of kicking it down, she moved on. Now that she put the time into thinking about it, passage from one place to the patient blocks usually weren't barred by locked doors. Locked doors were used to keep people out. Hmm...

The second door she came to was unlocked. Falis paused to listen before quietly opening it and slipping inside.
