It had been some time since she'd last been here; there didn't seem to be much of a difference in the room, aside from a depressing increase in the number of boxes. Whatever was in here tonight had better be worth it.

They didn't care, however. Their focus was on the prey right in front of them, their low breaths betraying their anticipation.

There wasn't much Thursday could do in the way of projectiles - at least nothing like what Archer was pulling off - but she did have the pens in her waistband, which at the very least might do some damage.
Yanking them out, she sent two of them hurtling at one pair of the eyes glowing in the darkness.

He crept in just after Takashi, his light sweeping the room as quickly and efficiently as he could. There was a fight, or had been. There were two people, obviously human, fighting something larger which was... obviously not human. It looked like one of them had gone down already and the other was on its last leg. Honey wasn't sure if he ought to try to help them, or simply stay out of their way and wait for them to finish.
The logical side of his mind said there was no way the creatures could be real. They had to be some guy in a costume or some kind of elaborate hoax or animatronics. But they were so real, and the smell was terrible! There was no way someone could just manufacture a smell like that! He stuck close to Takashi, like a baby duck huddling around its mother's legs. He wasn't afraid, but this was definitely outside the realm of ordinary.

The fighters didn't seem interested in him and Mitsukuni though and he could see boxes lined up along the wall. He didn't know whether to leave, help the injured, or just grab a box and hope for the best. Taking a step forward, he looked over to the other two and noting that for all the blood in the room, it wasn't necessarily theirs. The hulking beasts were the ones with the most injuries - they'd likely be fine. They should probably just stay out of the way, grab a box and go. Keeping himself between Mitsukuni and the fight, he slowly herded his cousin toward the first rack of storage boxes.

He picked the nearest box (one that was on the lowest shelf) and opened it, finding some clothes that were much too big for him, a wallet, some chapstick, and sure enough, an old cell phone. It was beat up and the battery was probably dead though. He nosed through the rest of the items, on the off chance that maybe there was a charger for it.

Unfortunately, by the time they reached their destination Sync could make out several figures already inside. However, he decided not to pay any mind to them as he glanced over his shoulder at Joshua. The last thing he needed was more distractions when it already took them an eternity to get here in the first place.
"So what was it that you were looking for?"

As for the question? He answered it almost flippantly, not even glancing at Sync as he answered. "My cell phone. It's orange and has a camera in it." All of which was quite, quite ordinary on the surface, and quite, quite deadly in the right hands. A lot like Joshua himself, really. He paused, then he giggled and added, "Oh, and maybe a pistol as well. Or at least more fashionable clothes."

It was a question that Sync forced himself not to ask, instead turning around to look for anything useful. However, he was being honest when he said he didn't care about his clothes; and so there wasn't really anything of value that he could take in this room. Of course, if they were to escape at some point it would be a good idea to grab a few articles. After all, wandering around in a mental hospital's garb wouldn't exactly be smart.
"Go and do what you need to do." He simply snorted when Joshua mentioned a pistol, knowing that the chances of finding one was nonexistent.

Unfortunately, none of his things were immediately there. Not his cell phone, not his pistol, and sadly enough, none of his Lapin Angelique threads were floating around either. Aggravating, that; other people might be fine with gray and blah, but Joshua wasn't going to wear this stuff if he could possibly help it. Not for long, anyway.
There was one thing that he found, however. It wasn't his cellphone, but it was a cell phone, and more importantly, it had a charger. He held up the rather antique-looking (by his standards) black phone, showing it to Sync for emphasis. "This is a cell phone. Looks like it ( ... )
