[from here]Even though Archer didn't really feel energetic tonight, he might as well make this quick. There was no sense in wasting the nightshift's time

[from here]A sports field. He really was in some sort of prison then. Kon wasn't sure why Black Zero would lock him up when he'd had the other Superboy killed, but then he didn't know anything about Black Zero, except that he took over worlds and was bad news
( ... )
The chittering noise probably wasn't the answer he hoped for, but it was all he got as a squirrel bounded out of the shadows and regarded him with its beady eyes. Far from the cute, fuzzy creature Kon might have expected, this squirrel was over twice the size of a house cat, its fur bristling and course and its eyes surprisingly menacing.
It moved closer, displaying a surprising turn of speed for something its size, before suddenly lunging towards the patient, mouth open and blood lust on its mind.
Spinning around at the sound Kon blinked, staring skeptically back at the squirrel.
"Ooookay. Monster squirrel. Maybe I really am on an episode of Wendy." Sure, it was big and freaky looking but it was a squirrel, not anything that had a chance of hurting him. He was the next Superman - sort of - what could a squirrel do against him?
When the thing suddenly lunged him though, Kon yelped, stumbling backwards in surprise. Trying to jump up and away, he instead just managed to fall on his ass, flinging an arm up to fend off the freakin' monster squirrel.
The prey tried to jump up and away from it, a movement that the squirrel hadn't expected. Prey normally tried to run or attack, not jump and fall over. The squirrel's own leap fell short; instead of hitting Kon's neck and severing the artery with its powerful incisors as it had planned, it impacted heavily with his chest, the flung arm catching it sharply under the jaw and closing its mouth with an audible click of teeth.
The blow hurt, but not so much that the squirrel was discouraged from its prey. And to make things even better, now it was right on top of the patient, giving it plenty of places to bite down! Which is precisely what it tried to do next, teeth darting towards the tender flesh of an exposed bicep.
...killer. Zombie. Squirrel. That was quite possibly the most awesome thing ever. Xigbar just had to stop and marvel at it. Killer zombie squirrels. Really, what more had to be said?
Well, normally he'd stand there and laugh at the spectacle, or perhaps try to take the squirrel on, but now he wasn't going to bother with it at all. He had Oreos to get, and that was more important at that moment than a struggling patient possibly getting eaten by... snickersnort... killer zombie squirrels. Though he'd have to come back and see if the kid was still alive afterwards.
[from here]"Well, I'll be damned," Teisel muttered. All this time, all he'd had to do to get outside was turn left! There was still a wall to get over, and a lot of open ground to cover before he got to it, but that was no big deal, it security outside was anything like security inside
( ... )
Being a straight shot down the hallway that ran between the patient blocks, it didn't take long to get to the rec field. The shinigami paused as she cleared the doorway, her eye searching out the sound of combat while she motioned at the wall to the left.
"To the wall."
Being as she couldn't climb the wall in her current condition, she would cover her team until they were in position.
Seeing how Momo only intended to lead the way until they got to the wall, Sora didn't see much point in protesting. The hallways were safe enough that her injuries and blind spot weren't going to be a problem, and the boy wasn't surprised when they made it outside without any issue.
The field itself was another matter. It didn't look like there was a brainwashed patient lording over the area, but that just meant that more monsters were about. Sora used his flashlight to try and take stock of the scuffle going on between two patients and what looked to be a squirrel. Well, Sora hadn't seen one of those in a while!
Normally he would have had to debate over whether he should help out, but Momo had already said she didn't want to get caught up in any fights. Considering her state, Sora could understand that, and so he listened to her order and moved to the left.
She had a feeling that even with one member of their team too injured to do it alone, getting over that wall would be the easy part of their mission... One thing at a time. She hadn't gotten much of an idea how good Sora was at fighting, so she wasn't sure who should help get Momo over the wall; still, either one of them was fine with her.
The vice captain was pleased to note Sora's willingness to follow orders. She'd never worked with him before, but Renji did think highly of the boy and that went a very long way with Momo. Her lips curled up a bit at Hokuto's use of -chan as she tracked the fight with a large once-furry creature.
Once the two moved to the wall, Momo moved to the wall as well, not turning away from the combat in case it targeted them or those involved seemed about to be overwhelmed. They needed to get over and Momo bet Sora had more muscle on him than Hokuto.
"Alright, Hokuto-chan, take point and get up onto the wall. Stay on it and look for any possible adversaries on the other side. Do not descend until all three of us are up there," Momo said. "Sora-san, once Hokuto is in position, please help me up and then follow afterward."

Archer stealthily moved across the field. It didn't seem like there was anyone else, but one could never be too sure in this place.

Or if he had a taste for brains. Either way.
