He practically jogged along the corridor to the turning that he needed, not wanting to stay out in the open more than he had to. It was too risky and he didn't want to be slowed down by an attack so early in the night.
He found the door to the block of rooms already open, and slipped through it.

He hadn't really made specific plans with Joshua after all. The boy hadn't even suggested a place to meet up, or a room number. Nothing.

MOMO breathed a sigh of relief, grateful for the uneventful trip. Even if she hadn't traveled far, it was always nice to be able to move without encountering anything dangerous. She just hoped that luck would hold true for the rest of the night.

By this point, Yukari was picking up her pace much quicker than before, if only because she'd finally be able to put all this down! Jeez, maybe she should have asked for Ken's help after all; he wouldn't have had to stick around for long, since he mentioned he was out helping someone else. Way to go with the planning there, me.
Well, fortunately, she could say that was the most of her problems right now. It could definitely be worse.

Through the doors into the next hallway... human bodies could not regulate warmth at all. He felt cold, colder than he thought, and he was shivering in waves. He should have put on one of the warmer garments before he left, but he hadn't anticipated feeling this cold, or shivering this hard.
He could do this. He had to do this. He had to know. He touched along the wall, looking for the door that would lead him into the right hallway.

With the fresh batteries he'd gotten from Cloud, at least he didn't have to worry about the flashlight giving out. Besides, it'd gotten a break last night as he'd crept through the darkness unnoticed. He did the same this evening, not wanting to waste the power before they'd even started their mission.
He hurried down the hall and on toward the larger meeting areas.
