here]With the smoke in his mouth, Tyki almost casually walked from one deserted hallway into the next. Or at least, as casually as he could when the wounds he still had objected to his movements. Going out with plenty of injuries probably wasn't the best idea, but there was something about staying in his room two nights in a row

ZEX walked through the dark hallways, focusing on the beam of light cast in front of him. Still, after all this time, his body desperately wanted information on air currents, something only his head feelers could have given him. Still felt crippled, locked away from real useful information by his human body and its nonsensical ways of processing environmental stimuli.
Or perhaps so he thought. Was that the case? He took a shuddering breath and continued.

The hallway was empty when Okita moved through it. He didn't waste any time, either, eager to get the upcoming fiasco over with. Kenshin was still alive out there somewhere and that had to be taken care of - fast.

The hall was still fairly empty when Chopper passed through it, sniffing the air every step of the way. He caught the scent of smoke coming from one of the halls, though the smoke smelled like it was from two different cigarettes.
He wasn't sure which cigarette belong to Sanji, if either of them, but he decided to turn into the hallway where the slightly more familiar smell was coming from. If Sanji's was the smell that led away, he could follow it after checking the hall.

Jamie wrinkled his nose a bit at the lingering scent of cigarette smoke, which he'd also detected in the hallway outside his room. For a ludicrous moment he wondered if people were really supposed to be smoking in here, but he suspected a lot of things were going on around here that "shouldn't" have been.

It was strange, the pronounced difference in the level of unease dredged up by the oppressive, too-dark hallway. Tony had found it disconcerting before, but his eyes then had been searching for human guards, familiar dangers. Now he didn't have the luxury of dismissing the existence of monsters; if he still didn't believe in the possibility of supernatural origin, that was entirely beside the point. Twisted and fanged meant monster. And painful.
Grimacing at the darting shadows cast by the beams of both his flashlight and those of the other patients setting out for the night, he headed out down the hall. Hopefully the excursion would be worth it, this time.
