Nightshift 35: F21-F30 Hallway

Okay, so the day more or less completely sucked. The only consolation Toph had was in regards to the conversation with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan and the upcoming meeting with Renamon for her file and possessions. That is, if she could even find the woman. Renamon never got a chance to tell her the location of her room; the staff had intervened too ( Read more... )

Not good, how often Diva slept lately. She hadn't had much blood, had she? Made her sleepy.

Sedation only added to the effect. The Queen had gone on the bus willingly enough, but not the second time. More annoying tranquilizers in her body. The ride back and dinner were both blurs, murky and unimportant. Back in the building where everything seemed to start and end...

It wasn't the beginning of nightshift that woke her, the only one out of the two who stirred from her sleep. No, not the intercom, or the loss of light. It was the presence lurking outside the door that whispered to the Chiropteran. One presence, quickly becoming two. Diva had sat up, gaze hooded and long, silky hair tangled around her, her immediate senses more concerned with what she found herself wearing: that silly uniform again. Dairine had been a little depressed that she hadn't been able to borrow the textbook, but had crammed as much of it into her head as she could. As far as she could tell, the laws of physics were the same here, so she wouldn't have to adjust.

She didn't know what she was going to get up to tonight, but she was going to get on out there anyway.

What was it with her and sleeping?

The moment Shion awoke she was running, grabbing her flashlight and heading out into the hallway, her lips set into a frown. There had to be something she could do tonight - whether it be try to escape, or her own weapon, the teenager knew she had to do something.

Slowing to a jog as she turned the corner, Shion quickly put that normal frightened teenager façade on and continued down the hallway.

Willow hadn't wound up sitting next to anyone on the bus on the way back. She still didn't see Anya, Angel had disppeared, and she was pretty sure Spike wouldn't be too keen on the idea of sitting next to her. Not that she could blame him ( ... )
