[Waiting for a smackdown!]Dinner had been rather odd. Crane was now aware that unpleasant was an understatement for his roommate, but he couldn't help but want to attempt to see where the man's limits were. If his well-being weren't possibly at stake, it'd be fascinating, but as it was...actually, the former doctor found it fascinating anyway. It hadn't ever stopped him before, so why should it now ( ... )

[Coming from here. Will be waiting outside of M80 for Luffy]

M80.

Brock licked his lips. Here was where the fun would begin. Looked like Luffy hadn't made it here just yet, leaving them with some time to kill. Or people. But what's the point of teaching this ape a lesson if we just kill him next? A pretty damn good point. While it'd be more instantly gratifying to wipe out his miserable life, Brock knew in the long run it'd be better to reign that shit in for now. Once they'd kicked Crane's ass, then they'd make him talk; he'd been working at Landels last time they'd seen him and Brock wanted some answers.

There was a good possibility he'd been brainwashed and couldn't remember. Some animal part of him had to. With enough pain, Brock was sure he could get his mouth running.

((From here.))

"Brock!" Luffy hissed, maybe a little louder than he should have as he approached the other patient. "Is Glasses Guy still in his room?" If Brock had gotten there faster, then he'd probably have seen Crane if he tried slipping out of his room, right? Hunting him down would probably have taken more time than he would have liked, but he was prepared for the possibility.

And if Glasses Guy was in his room? Well...then Luffy guessed things would go by a lot quicker, which suited him just fine. No point in dragging things out any longer than necessary, especially if it turned out he really didn't remember as much as he should have. Either way, maybe it'd teach him not to go betraying anyone else while he was here.

"He said he'd wait here," Brock said, pleased to see Luffy made it. He'd been wondering if it'd count if he knocked Crane a little for kicks before the kid made it but decided against it. "Didn't see him leaving or anything."

He turned toward the door, motioning for Luffy to get behind him. They could always just bum-rush the room, but Brock didn't much feel like trying to get through a door if he had to. Better to play it friendly until they both got inside the room - hell, now that he knew Luffy had Gumby powers, maybe he could block the door and have some dibs on Crane at the same time. The possibilities were endless. Raising his hand, Brock knocked on the door, raising his voice.

"Hey, it's me. Eddie!" he called, and, to play it clueless, asked, "This's M80, right?"

Well, that had been... interesting. Or well, not interesting so much as disturbing and far too much like the little author-mouse that he'd had to deal with all too recently. Some bastard gloating in the shadows, throwing out tricks and traps but too afraid to confront someone himself on the killing field. The arrogance of it pricked at Rainier's temper and left him having to drag himself back from the killing edge which he'd been walking the edge of far too often recently ( ... )

Badou was acutely aware of the fact that his flashlight had been stolen by Alkaid's boobs. It was unfair on every level of unfair, and he had yet to demand it back for fear of her chest eating his arm again like that horrible first night. He didn't even have boobs to combat them with and she had enough for like...two whole people. If he wasn't mildly and irrationally terrified, he would think he was turning into a pedo ( ... )

Soubi had already grabbed everything he needed. The backpack, his journal inside with the spare bandages, cigarettes and all else that he'd taken. He didn't know what was needed, but it didn't hurt to take it with him. Besides, he was running low on bandages and cigarettes. He didn't want anyone rooting through the room and taking what wasn't theirs or his, for that matter. As soon as it was time, he left.

"Horatio!"

Hamlet awoke with a start, calling out for his dearest friend. The last memory he had was collapsing into Horatio's arms; the rest was silent.

And now? Now he was in a strange room, in a strange place he did not recognize in strange clothes that were not his. He tore out of bed, flinging off sheets and pillows to try and find something he recognized. All he found was the flashlight, which he managed to turn on after a few moments of fumbling.

Distraught, Hamlet stumbled barefoot out into the hallway, looking for someone or something that could tell him where he was.
