Edgeworth's nurse fussed all the way from the shower room to the Sun Room. "You didn't have to be so quick, Mr. Pierce. Really, you could have taken your time." He cut her off quickly, with a sharp glare, and the words, "I don't care to show my body off to everyone in the Institute, thank you."
She didn't say a word as they entered the room. Edgeworth looked around the room, spotting a set of three chairs with a table in front, near one of the windows. Perfect.
He sat down in the middle chair, crossing his arms and tapping right his index finger against his left arm.. Hopefully the others wouldn't tarry too long in arriving.

Phoenix walked into the room with long, hurried strides, pausing at the door as he saw Edgeworth already waiting, finger tap-tapping like an impatient schoolteacher's. Unthinkingly, he smiled a little -- some things really didn't change, it seemed -- walking at a more moderate pace over to the table.
"I didn't keep you waiting long, did I?" he asked as he pulled out a chair, taking the seat closest to the window. He noted that Edgeworth had taken a seat that would put him directly between himself and Gumshoe, and breathed a silent sigh of relief at that. If Gumshoe had been that agitated in writing, he was wary as to exactly how he would act in-person.
I just hope he doesn't jump at me over the table, he thought, uncertain even as he did as to exactly how much of that he'd meant as a joke.

The prosecutor shook his head, then took out his journal and a pen. Not only would he need it for note-taking, he also needed to copy the maps of the first and second floor.
"By the way, Wright," he said, after placing the notebook and pen on the table, "You looked terribly confused as the intercom went off this morning. Not that I can blame you, but is there anything I can answer while we're waiting?"

He toyed with his journal for a moment as it lay on the table, hands on opposite corners rotating it a handful of degrees clockwise, then counter-clockwise, like some sort of awkward and self-conscious deejay. He finally flipped it open quickly and pulled out the folded note, sliding it across the table. "As long as Gumshoe isn't here, I want to give you this." He swallowed, trying to rein in the better part of a blush and wordlessly praying that Edgeworth did not opt to read it right there and then. "Just . . . give it to me if any of this memory stuff happens again, alright?"

The nurse gave him a strange look as he came out of the showers, since he had hardly taken any time at all to enjoy it, but Crane ignored her. He didn't feel like dealing with questions, or with the kinds of people who were comfortable in the showers (okay, so maybe it made him a little bit uncomfortable, but it was still more of a waste of his time), and would rather be sitting in the Sun Room. He took a seat in one of the chairs and settled back into it, stretching his legs out in front of him ( ... )

Maybe it would be interesting conversation, as well, although it would probably be best this time if he started the conversation himself. Crane wasn't usually one to judge based on appearance, but glasses did usually indicate more intellectual individuals. At the very least, perhaps he would be more sane than several of his other conversation partners; however, should he prove to be just as insane, perhaps he'd still be more of the subtle brand of crazy. The former doctor preferred those.
"By all means," he replied, giving the other man a smile and a nod. May as well start with introductions. "I'm Jonathan Crane."

Certifiably insane was hardly the phrase Kristoph would use to describe his newfound companion. Actually, Crane appeared a little more sensible than most people he'd dealt with. Wright had taken to the poker scene too well while Justice, as good as his intentions were, had his Chords of Steel. There were no obvious signs of such attributes in this patient, only hints of what Kristoph considered to be professionalism. Such men were hard to find.
Of course, the crazy could very well make itself apparent in the next few exchanges. It had happened before. "I have to admit," Kristoph began casually, "I had my doubts in the beginning, but this facility is rather nice."

Sanzo sat down heavily in one of the chairs, and rubbed at his damp hair with a hand.
It was nice to get clean, even if the amount of showers was about the same as while they'd been on the road. So it wasn't like there was any real change in that regard from there and Landels.
What to do about this Kenren problem now? How far could be even be trusted? Not that Sanzo was going to even trust him, especially now, but what information could he be given? How much of that would go to Homura?
...Should he even bother?
As far as Sanzo saw it, Kenren had thrown his lot in with Homura.

Goku came in a few (fifteen or more!) minutes later, having followed Sanzo to the Sun Room. Conveniently, it was where he was going in the first place so he didn't have to change his plans very much to accommodate Sanzo's wandering ( ... )

So the chimp did actually bother to check. Would wonders never cease?
Not quite enough to lift his mood, but it was a start in the right direction.
"Alright." It was little gruff, but Goku was used to it. "Mine's 23. They're calling me 'Lucas Crane' here."

Lucas Crane, twenty-three. L-u-c-a-s C-r-a-n-e. He sounded it out and spelt it a few more times in his head, but while the name and number itself stuck he had difficulty identifying it with Sanzo. Sanzo was just Sanzo, why did someone have to complicate it by giving him another name?
Still, he nodded to say that he'd memorized it. Uh, for now. Hopefully he'd remember when it mattered.
"What are we going to do tonight anyway?" Goku moved backwards, giving Sanzo back some of the space he'd stolen, "I was thinking that maybe we should plan how we're going to look for Hakkai, and where to start."
Wait. ... how did he forget? He should have left a message for Kenren on the messsage board too. He should have thought of Kenren before. He could still add him, at least. "And I think Kenren should help us look. I'll put up a message asking him to meet us later; outside the hallway's a good spot."

Mikami couldn't help but feel irritated that, even though the nurses undoubtedly would claim to be looking out for his best interests, he had been allowed to leave "Lunch" without actually consuming any food. Now he was short a meal. Put that with his existing confusion, and the fact that he had apparently slept until lunch-time itself, and you had a notably obsessive prosecutor off his schedule and not particularly pleased about it.
For now, he'd been taken to the "Sun Room-" a large, naturally-lit area clearly designed to be soothing and comfortable. The green walls reminded Mikami of the walls in his junior high bathroom, so any effect was tinged by sour memories. He noticed there were already a number of people here, but Mikami didn't particularly feel like talking to any of them. Instead, he wandered to the bulletin board and busied himself with committing the schedule posted there to memory. Depressingly, very little of the food listed for the meals seemed familiar. Distinctly Western, which was odd ( ... )

He found it fortunate that, although he hadn't exactly planned his choice of seating, being out of the way and looking busy had kept anyone so far from seeking contact with him. He mused that, with the current set-up, he would be able to tell if anyone started to come near ( ... )

Honey-senpai was back!
But...was it the same Honey, or had he pulled a Haruhi?
"At any rate," he said as he walked over, picking up exactly where Kaoru left off, "there needs to be a massive Host Club meeting in Milord's room tonight."
Before anyone else disappears.

"Hika-chan too. But I don't know what are you talking about, I saw you both just yesterday. I've never been to this place before, but me and Usa-chan don't like it one bit!" He puffed out his cheeks in a pout to show his displeasure. If this was a game or a joke, Takashi wouldn't have been so serious, but now the twins were talking like he should know what was going on and he just didn't! It was so frustrating!
