The lights went out, and Edgeworth prepared for the excursion at hand. He put on his coat, slipped several fresh scalpels into his left pocket, and put the scalpels for Claude in the right pocket. He tucked his notebook and a pen into the left inner pocket of his coat and took the pillowcases off his bed, folding them neatly and putting them into

By the time Albel had been moved back to his room, he still had no idea how he was going to move around tonight. A wheelchair wasn't exactly practical with that rotting scum running around (and he wasn't even going to consider the stairs). As he hated to admit his weakness, he'd be an idiot if he tried going out into the hallways like this.
But walking wasn't quite an option either, the warrior soon found out. Moving around without his wheelchair had put more strain on his lungs than he could bear. It eventually made him drop down on his bed. It was only then when he noticed how tired he actually was.
Even though he didn't want to waste his time, he still drifted off to sleep.

M80, M70... If the room numbers decreased the further down he went, as Fayt had originally thought, and Albel's room was M56 then... He'd have to go down the hall starting with M60. Right? Fayt paused to consider the idea before, ultimately, starting down the hall.
M60, M59, M58... Albel's room had to be this way, the only way Fayt could think it wouldn't be was if the makers of this place decided to skip M56 along the way. Which would have figured, give one of the more troublesome patients a troublesome room that was impossible to find. And maybe all those nights without sleep were beginning to get to his head.
M56! Fayt grinned and knocked on the door, it was about time.

But considering that wasn't the case, he was still present in his room, fast asleep. The knocking on the door went completely unnoticed; the warrior stirred, but didn't wake up.

Not that he would tell Albel that, wheelchair or not, Albel would still try to beat him within an inch of his life at the implication of being weak. Even if he was at this point in time. Fayt grit his teeth after another long moment of silence, he had waited long enough. If Albel wasn't in here then... Well, there really wasn't much he could do, frustrating enough as it was. Turning the knob, Fayt inched the door open and carefully shone his light into the room, unwilling to intrude but ( ... )

The vampire smoothed down his soft, black shirt, confident that if that were the case, he wouldn’t go even if he were half-dead. Still, it was something to keep in mind.
Although he was fully aware he’d let Kyon off his leash for the day with one small board post, he didn’t necessarily feel guilt over what damage a voracious, clumsy bloodsucker could cause without supervision. It’d been nice… not having to think about all these problems. But now that he’d had time to right himself, Aidou figured he had to get back to work. Collect Kyon, feed him, feed himself, and keep both of them from getting caught or even spotted.
Best to hurry, or else Kyon might wander off, and he’d have to waste time hunting the kid down.

Fortunately, the way to the next hallway wasn't long at all, and Claude arrived without any hitches.
For a moment, he thought he'd have to keep his flashlight beam carefully trained on the room numbers, but when he realized M59 was one of the first rooms of the hall, he was glad that it was easy to find. Better yet, it seemed there might have been someone waiting for him.
He approached the man, who appeared to be a little bit taller and a few years older than himself. "Excuse me," he said, careful to keep his voice low and quiet, "but my name is Claude. Are you by any chance the person I spoke to on the bulletin today? About the scalpel?"

He reached into his coat pocket, taking out the two scalpels. "Take both of these - they worked well for me last night. I can also give you one more, in case you need a fresh one?" He asked in a low voice, careful to keep the metal from hitting the light.

He hadn't expected Edgeworth to give him two scalpels, and, grateful, he reached for them. "Well, right now I'm traveling with just one other person, so I'm not sure if a third one would be necessary. But you have more experience with all this, so if you think I'd be better off with a fresher one, I'd trust your judgment."

"There's no need to return them to me once you're done," Edgeworth added. "Either keep them, or pass them along if you know someone else that might need them." He smiled as he said that.
"Also, I know there's one group working on the men's rooms in the M1-M40 block. The one nearer to here is probably your best bet, or the one in the M100 block. That way there's no hassle with running into other groups."

He stood up from his bed and stretched, his arm still sore but it was beginning to heal which was good to know. Shadow still had limited mobility but it didn't hurt as much as it once did. He just hoped tonight he didn't further injure himself. Reaching beneath his bed he grabbed his flashlight, figuring it was best to go armed tonight. He'd been caught off guard too many times to not realize the importance of even the smallest of blunt objects. He headed out the door deciding to head to Valyn's room when the sound of Shana's magic stopped him. She was close by. Perhaps he'd meet up with her first.
Shadow stepped out of his room and began walking down the familiar hallways, following the sound of Shana's magic.

Hiei didn't stop until he found himself outside Kurikara's door, the trip not taking long at all. That was good, as the demon and the dragon would need as much time as possible to gather Kurikara's supplies. It especially didn't help that at least so far as the demon was concerned, he had no idea where to get any of the things Kurikara had mentioned the night before.
But someone should. If not Kurikara, then maybe that roommate of his. Never one to have the patience to wait, Hiei didn't bother to knock before he walked in the door.

Hiei certainly hoped so. They didn't have time to waste while the demon kicked the dragon's ass.
"Do you know where you're going?" Hiei certainly didn't have a clue, and it wouldn't shock him if Kurikara got too eager and they spent half the night wandering around completely lost. The best case scenario, however, was that Kurikara had actually bothered to ask directions, something Hiei wasn't prone to doing.

Well, it didn't matter. The ninja stood up just after his roommate did and gave Hiei a slight bow. Then he performed a few short stretches to make sure most of the numbness had left his limbs. Hopefully his combat abilities wouldn't have been jeopardized.
"Good luck to both of you," he said with a smile before gathering up his trowels and flashlight. The next moment he was out the door.
