The lights went out, and Edgeworth prepared for the excursion at hand. He put on his coat, slipped several fresh scalpels into his left pocket, and put the scalpels for Claude in the right pocket. Hiei didn't stop until he found himself outside Kurikara's door, the trip not taking long at all. That was good, as the demon and the dragon would need as much time as possible to gather Kurikara's supplies. It especially didn't help that at least so far as the demon was concerned, he had no idea where to get any of the things Kurikara had mentioned the night before.
But someone should. If not Kurikara, then maybe that roommate of his. Never one to have the patience to wait, Hiei didn't bother to knock before he walked in the door.

Hiei certainly hoped so. They didn't have time to waste while the demon kicked the dragon's ass.
"Do you know where you're going?" Hiei certainly didn't have a clue, and it wouldn't shock him if Kurikara got too eager and they spent half the night wandering around completely lost. The best case scenario, however, was that Kurikara had actually bothered to ask directions, something Hiei wasn't prone to doing.

Well, it didn't matter. The ninja stood up just after his roommate did and gave Hiei a slight bow. Then he performed a few short stretches to make sure most of the numbness had left his limbs. Hopefully his combat abilities wouldn't have been jeopardized.
"Good luck to both of you," he said with a smile before gathering up his trowels and flashlight. The next moment he was out the door.

Not that Sai would know, but Kurikara thought he was on fairly decent terms with his roommate. It really was the room that was driving him crazy. Being cooped up all day didn't bode well for someone who'd been given an entire dimension as a prison.
"The janitor's closet seems like the best bet." Kurikara shifted past Hiei, pausing in the doorway as an afterthought. "Do you want a weapon? I've still got a trowel from the weird kid stashed under the mattress."

It was for another reason that Hiei shook his head at the offer of the weapon, however. "I'll wait for a sword." The demon was more than confident at even his unarmed abilities, including the painfully limited Jagan powers he possessed. Besides, Hiei still had his pride, and the thought of waving a baby shovel around didn't sit well with him.
"Let's go since you've decided."

He ducked out the door and broke into a run. Hiei should be able to keep up easily.
