[From here.]Meandering about like this was really just a waste of his time, but Sync strove forward anyway with that same bored expression as he made his way into the next area

Nothing in particular in this hall. Well, there was the door. Haseo looked down at the paper map provided, and back up at the exit to the hallway. "So those little square things are the doorways." Not that he couldn't figure out as much before, but it was a good idea to try and get the gist of what every little thing on the map meant. There were usually indicator maps when he went on a quest that were filled in as he went along, sometimes the symbols differed. It was a good thing to watch out for, in any case, especially when doing a solo mission. Haseo proceeded onward and outward.
The corridor at the end of the rooms blocks was empty when he stepped into it, but he frowned a little. Something was off. He flicked on the torch for a few seconds, eyes widening at the change in appearance. Dirty and dark now, rather than the pristine cleanliness of the daytime. Things really were strange here. It worried him.
He switched the torch back off, and rested his hand against one wall to guide him towards the door that would lead out into the main corridor. The darkness was something that he was used to. Nothing could really compare to the blackness of space when you were all alone, even when you were in a Gundam with so much power at your fingertips. This darkness though had a different feel, like it was concealing things, watching him as he moved like a scared child.
There was little of interest in this hallway, Phibrizzo decided after a moment of taking in the surroundings. It would be more fruitful to move to a more populated area before he tried anything fun.
Was it just him, or was his scramble toward Yukari's room more of a leisurely walk? Considering the items in his hands, Ken supposed the delay was understandable, if just a tad annoying.
Fumbling once with his equipment, the boy managed to open the door out of the male block and step into the next hall.

He really hoped nothing attacked him. Archer wasn't in the mood.
