The hallways were surprisingly empty, though whether or not that was a good thing was debatable. Normally, the fact that he couldn't hear anything was enough assurance that nothing was there, but he wasn't so sure how much of his senses he could trust anymore.

Reaching the door that led to the bathroom, he tested the knob, expecting it to be locked. Instead, the door swung in easily. Huh. He'd been under the impression everything was pretty much locked at night.

[from here]Harry switched on his flashlight as he entered the hall, grateful Peter had told him to bring it. Even though his vision was enhanced it was impossible to see anything clearly without the meager light it provided ( ... )

The tension of walking out into the darkened halls of Landel's eased up a bit. This was still familiar territory. He'd never seen any monsters in these halls, though he knew he shouldn't take anything for granted.

And now Fayt had a problem. Albel had told him what room he was in, which was helpful considering how many rooms there probably were in the asylum, but now he had to find it. The patient blocks were all probably on the first floor and all group together, if only for convenience, so that wasn't too big of a deal... Fayt frowned and turned the beam of his flashlight towards the hall to his right. M90... He had just come from M94 and he was standing next to M100 so... the room numbers decreased the further down the hall you went.

So, if the layout of that hall matched the one he had just come out of, there was no way Albel's room was in this block. Great. Fayt sighed and began walking in the opposite direction, this was going to be a fun night.

Xelloss kept an eye on his map as he walked. He did hope he remembered the right room number--after all, it'd be terribly embarrassing to walk in on two people who wanted to be alone in the dark. Stealing from the possibly-empty rooms was not a very wise idea, if the chance offered itself, considering the possible consequences with the patient population if he were caught. So if it were the wrong room, yet unoccupied, he'd simply have to try another room, or find some other way to spend his evening. And would there be consequences for his actions tonight...? But why should there be? They were two consenting adults, both in bodies of the same species, even.
