Nightshift 32: M71-80 Hallway
Jade was rather used to these quiet meals nowadays. It didn’t provide much in the form of entertainment, but they were efficient and that was all that mattered. He quickly finished his meal and began preparing for the night, gathering the same materials as the previous night before setting out into the hall.
There was no doubt that the Colonel was amused when he discovered that he was - yet again - the first to walk out of his room, but it wasn’t like he was complaining. In fact, he was quite happy that everyone else was so sloppy; it provided him with a head start without the need to fuss over traffic.
As usual, Jade wandered down the hall without using his flashlight, casually pushing open the door at the end and made his way into the next area.
