He also had on a pair of slippers - the ones that covered more of the feet. There was no special reason for this... he'd just never worn shoes before, and he wanted to see how it felt.

Oh, fuck. He had to meet that bloke in the Game Room, didn't he? Fuckety fucking fuck.
Rubbing his face blearily, the reaper rummaged around under his mattress until he found the doll. In the process, he managed to stick himself on one of his syringes. Bloody fuck. Oh, there was that little jar of whatever-it-was. He decided to bring that along. Maybe he could smash it in the guy's face. Or use it himself. He had no fucking clue what it did, but it wasn't like it could kill him, right?
For the first time since he'd gotten it, Mason remembered the switchblade. That would be handy if there was going to be a fight over this bloody doll.
All of this went into his pants, along with Gone With The Wind. He wished he still had a flashlight, but oh well. He'd manage fine groping his way along - he had last night.

"All right." He said aloud, glancing up and down the empty hallway. This would be just like a dungeon run, except in a lot more ..strange and sarcastic manner. All he had to do was keep the goal in mind and grind through the levels until he got where he wanted to go. Just like The World, just as easily. There was no reason to think of it any differently.

He stared at the door for a few confused moments until Fai left with a backwards wave at him and slipped outside into the corridor. Even then, he wasn't sure whether he should move or not. There was still that lingering doubt and his wariness about hospital staff. If he'd been caught out of bed back then, it would have meant more tests, and children disappeared at night.
Finally though, Allelujah stood, setting aside the tray and examining the room for anything useful. Nothing sharp, not that he'd expected it, but there was a torch under the pillow and batteries in the drawer. Pens too.
