Coming from here.]Daemon slipped out into the large, empty corridor, pausing in the doorway for a long moment to sweep the beam of his flashlight up and down either direction to make sure the path was clear, before motioning for his brother to follow him. Turning to his right, he headed for the next hall, knowing that if their father was heading

So far, so good! Anise was almost at the men's block. Once she was in there, there would be so many people running around that she wouldn't have to worry about the monsters or the lack of light.
Sneaking around in the dark like this was kind of fun, in a way. Maybe it would be a little more fun if there wasn't the chance of something lunging out of the darkness and eating her, but...
...Well, maybe it would have stayed fun if she hadn't just reminded herself of that danger.

"I was partially expecting you to already be with Ion, Anise." Jade spoke up cheerfully from behind the wandering girl, slowing his pace until he was casually strolling alongside her in the darkness. Considering that there was hardly a soul about anyway, spotting the teen after his eyes adjusted had been a dangerously easy task.

Anise was almost surprised to hear him mention Ion, but quickly reminded herself there was no reason to be. Big news like that never evaded the Colonel's ears. "I'm going there now!" she replied, sounding just a little defensive, "It's hard to get around quickly when I can't see anything." Normal humans needed light to see; which was something she supposed the superhuman Colonel might not be able to relate to.

With their designated patient block in sight, Jade pushed open the set of doors, keeping it open to allow Anise through before he followed closely behind.

Aidou opened the cell block door, and followed after the males who were somewhat ahead of him. The only person in the hall was a small girl, rather cute, but not so young that the noble wouldn't have potentially struck up a "conversation" with her during a dayshift.
Nights were no times for that, though, at least not now. He had things to do.

He didn't know how many fucking cell blocks there were, and didn't even know which one Tyler's room was in, but the last night it looked liked Tyler had come down from the far hallway. Made sense that he head back over that way just like before.
This time, though, he couldn't hear any kind of confrontation going down, which was fine by him. Reid liked a good fight, but only if he was in it, and only if he were kicking some sense into a dumbass or two. The rest of it could just stay the hell out of his way--he really didn't need any of that shit right now.

Even this hallway was almost completely empty, and Ren at least counted himself lucky that this observation also included any... wildlife. For now, at least.
The doll shifted his grip on his flashlight, having made sure to change the batteries once the beam had gotten weak, like the night previous. Seemed like once these ran out, he'd have to go searching for a new one.

Well, this ought to be it. Mark turned his flashlight off, finding enough ambient light here that he could see. Rangiku would be the easiest to spot, so he kept his eyes open for her.
The question now would be which route they'd take for the basement. The Sun Room was unpopular for obvious reasons, even having never gone there himself, so outdoors? God, was he going to have to hoist himself over the wall out there? That would be... even in shoes suited for climbing, that would be embarrassing. But there wasn't any other way, was there?

Leon returned to the hallway. The woman who was going to be in charge of the operation tonight hadn't arrived. Most people in this hallway seemed to be going somewhere else.
After a couple moments, Leon spotted a man standing near a wall, looking as though he was waiting for someone. He approached cautiously, flashlight aimed at the ground. "Are you Mark?" he asked.

He looked more like a proper member for a strike-force. And tall. Well over a head taller. Height is all in the mind anyway. Mark shifted his weight a bit, taking on a pose almost like a parade rest. "Have you been to the basement before?"

He noticed that the other man adopted a more formal position when he arrived. Interesting... Mark didn't look like much of a physical fighter, but maybe he'd had some training in the past. At Mark's question, Leon shook his head. "No, I haven't. This is just my third night here, actually." That was two nights longer than he'd really wanted to stay, but things were looking up now. He had a weapon, he had missions... it was almost like being back home.
