Daemon slipped out into the large, empty corridor, pausing in the doorway for a long moment to sweep the beam of his flashlight up and down either direction to make sure the path was clear, before motioning for his brother to follow him. Turning to his right, he headed for the next hall, knowing that if their father was heading out anywhere this night, he would have to come through there first.
