The shinigami had never changed her clothes so quickly before in her life as soon as the nurses had left. Momo did not want to spend any more time than was absolutely necessary with her roommate. The shinigami uniform went on easily enough with her injured shoulder, now that it had healed some, with tolerable pain. As the night before, she did

F12. Finally. Recluse knocked quietly on the door, drawing slightly back into the shadows of the hallway after doing so. He'd prefer not to start all of this by getting blinded by a flashlight.

So far, she'd found a blank journal, a lot of pens, a radio, some batteries, and a flashlight. The vengeance demon folded the map Momo had given her very carefully and tucked it into the waistband of her pants, then put one set of batteries into the flashlight and switched it on.
At least it worked - she wouldn't have expected a hell flashlight to work.
Now, hopefully this person, whoever he or she was, would just hand her a sword and Anya could get on with the Scooby meeting. As much as she really hadn't missed those endless research sessions in the Magic Box, and an eternity of doing research would pretty much be her idea of hell, it would be a nice change from all the being ostracized she'd been doing lately.
Moving quietly in case the mysterious sword-maker actually wanted to rip her flesh off and eat it, Anya headed towards the door and quickly pulled it open, shining the flashlight beam out into the hallway.

"Come on in," she said chuckling loudly to disguise her mistake and a brief flicker of nervousness. She backed into her room, holding the door open for the man.
"What do you want in exchange for the sword?" the demon asked, keeping the beam of her flashlight pointed at the floor.

Her eyes grew wide as she heard the head doctor. "Oh my god," she whispered, the blood draining from her face. "He killed him...." .Why hadn't she turned the radio on days before? Maybe if she had...what? What could I have done? I don't even know where the radio announcer was. She took a deep breath, trying to focus on what was important. Now was not the time.
She stepped out into the hallway, waiting for her eyes to adjust once again to the sudden darkness before slipping silently down to the meeting place.

As Dr. Landel's voice came over the intercom, the realian frowned but set about getting ready. Even though she wasn't going to set out right away, she didn't want to wait any longer than she'd have to. So using this time would probably be beneficial.
"The man on the radio is dead."MOMO stopped at those words, dropping her journal as her eyes widened. The man on the radio was dead? And Dr. Landel had been the one to kill him? The news was unexpected, and frightening to say the least ( ... )

Down one hall and then the next, and finally Homura arrived at the correct room. He glanced to Heiji for a moment, then grinned, speaking softly. "Try to be polite to our healer. She's not part of our group." Though with any luck that could change, but it was something to be seen. Homura had to assess both MOMO's power and her personality.
Working with the History Club could be a rather trying task.
Raising a hand, Homura knocked sharply on the door.

But, just for good measure, he spat on the floor again before she answered. He didn't mind the taste of blood, but it was disgusting to have it rolling around in his mouth and swallowing it made him sick.
"I really hope she'll be able to handle us both. No offense, but we both look like shit."

Smoothing her skirt, more from habit than anything else, the realian quickly stood to answer the door. She couldn't be certain which of the two was Homura, but neither seemed to be in the best of shape. Of course, that was the reason they were there in the first place, wasn't it?
"Good evening," MOMO greeted, giving a small bow before moving away from the door. "I hope you didn't run into any trouble on the way here."

She shook those thoughts off as pessimistic, getting up and heading towards the door. She had to belive in the best of humanity and that they could throw off war as easily without her as they had after Dekim Barton attempted his own takeover bid.
However, in the dark, she didn't realize the door to her room was already open until she just barely kept from running into the young woman standing in the doorway. This must be her roommate, the one she saw sleeping earlier in the day. "Are you all right, miss?" she asked, keeping her voice low as to not attract undue attention.

"Oh, nothing to worry about. Pardon me." In that way she always used to. It made sense, after all; that was how she had lived even in dire circumstances; fake to everyone but Utena and Brother. Habits didn't just die so easily.
"I'm sorry," She continued, in polite habit, "We haven't been properly introduced. You are my roommate, aren't you?"

Though she wanted to be put off by the other girl's overly cheery demeanor, it did remind her of Duo when they had met during the first war.
"Were you about to leave for the night?" If she was, perhaps they could walk together for a bit.
