Having eaten, Kagura was feeling much better, but her mind was still uneasy. All she really had was a room number, M14, though no idea how to get there. The rooms she'd passed by all had F numbers on them. What if the M ones were on the other side of the building?! What if she couldn't find Hatori's office

...Still no one. Despite his better judgment, Ken paused in the middle of the hallway, straining his ears for any sounds. There were treads of feet and whispers of voices, but the tile made it difficult for him to catch anything definite.
Dammit, he cursed. This wasn't going well at all.

Slow, careful steps were taken, making her way from one hall to the next. It felt so empty that she couldn't help but feel somewhat unnerved by it. By herself, wandering like this... this was hardly the way Yukari ever wanted to spend any night.
Turning her head in the other direction, Yukari noticed a light being shone-- that had to be a flashlight. "Who's there?" she called, almost instantly. She couldn't see the person behind the light, and hopefully they had no ill intentions towards anyone passing by.

He whirled his flashlight to meet the one who had called. "Yu..." He swallowed, feeling a mixture of dread and anticipation wash over him. "Yukari-san?"

There was no way.
She leaned her head sideways, standing out of the light, squinting while her eyes adjusted once again as she approached a little closer. That was... a kid. Oh, she recognized him all right as soon as she could, and when she did, Yukari let out an unusually loud gasp. "Ken-kun!"

Momo quietly padded her way into the hall just outside the women's block. She was to meet Sparda here to get Signum's sword back. She scanned the area and didn't see the tall man, just a pair of kids.
The shinigami moved across the hall so she''d have the protection of the wall covering her injured shoulder. Keeping her right hand gripping the sheet across her kimono, Momo waited for Sparda.

When Sparda spotted Momo he smiled at her, approaching carrying both swords. His own was held in his hand, and the other secured in a make-shift belt he'd made from his sheet.
"Momo," She was right where she said she would be, and attired in her non-standard clothing as well.

"Sparda-san," she said. "I appreciate your promptness."
She looked over the sword in his hand as well as Signum's broadsword. Did he make a pact with the alchemists or had he come by his sword through means similar to her and the katana sitting on her hip? This was not the time to ask such things.

Sure enough, it was Vice Captain Hinamori. Rukia didn't recognize the man with her, but they seemed to be making an exchange of some sort.
She approached, careful to keep her flashlight pointing toward the ground, and stood at a respectful distance. "Vice Captain," she said quietly, and waited to be acknowledged.

Closer still, and still Daemon did not stop, hurrying on his way with single minded determination. He rounded to his right into the hall outside the female wing, completely preoccupied with finding his Queen, so much that he paid little attention to who or what was around him.

He resisted the dramatics of kicking the door open, but Saetan almost skidded into the hallway, shining the light ahead to be sure he didn't run pell mell into some unfortunate who got in his way. He saw a familiar shape at the far end.
"Daemon!" he shouted, then he didn't know what else to say. He didn't mean to slow him, only join him. He ran toward his son, angling the light to the side so he didn't blind him.

"She's here," he breathed when Saetan was close enough to hear. "Can you feel her? She's here."
