Seeing no reason to stall, William was quick to follow Wesker up the stairs. He didn't bother asking why Wesker was waiting for him because the answer was fairly obvious--and William wasn't going to deny he wasn't predictable when it came to his experiments.

An empty, dark staircase. Aya paused to listen for a moment. Nothing.
He found the first step hesitantly and then the next one. Continuation was a lot easier when he had adjusted to the distance between every step. He would avoid using the flashlight whenever he could. The damn thing would be the only thing keeping him alive when he needed it.

Ken paused to direct his flashlight at the map Homura had given him, making sure he was headed in the right direction. Unfortunately, that ruined whatever paltry night vision he'd gotten accustomed to. He flicked the light off and waited for his eyes to adjust again, then cautiously made his way up the stairs.

Rangiku started up the stairs slowly, her katana held tightly in her hand, ready to be used if anything came at them. Stairways were a good place to attack, especially if you had the higher ground. She took a few steps and then stopped, looking back down at the other two. "Gin, keep an eye on the rear please." She knew that he's probably do it as a matter of course, but she liked to be thorough and wanted to take no chances.

His smile quirked for a moment though, at her last comment. "My pleasure," he threw a glance at her backside for a moment, just for emphasis. Of course, the view wasn't bad either. He waited for Ururu to follow Ran, then drew one of his knives, holding it at the ready, flashlight in the other hand.

Don't follow, don't follow, I didn't hear you, don't follow!
Sousuke was running as though Mousse were some kind of monster and he was being chased down for his very blood.

Putting his glasses on (he never should have taken them off, he told himself), he gave chase. This time he would DEFINATELY say hi to the right thing, Sousuke the person.
"SOUSUKE!" He called loudly after the other.

Of course, now Sousuke was certain that Mousse was actually talking to him instead of other things... which he tended to do on occasion, strangely enough. Even more of a reason to run away! And what was Mousse wearing anyway? Such a thing could only get in the way!
