It was with some relief that Yuuhi awoke the next morning, in his own bed, sore and tired and achy. He would've slept more had they let him, his face down in the pillow, away from all the others and their questions and their concern. He didn't want to see them, but he managed a little smile when the nurse came in and didn't object when she lead

She glanced around, noting the room was still mostly empty, and no sign of Keman, Valyn, or Shadow as of yet. Her stomach rumbled, but apparently breakfast was to be late this morning - it figured.
Yawning, she found a quiet couch in the sun and stretched out to soak up the warmth, thinking maybe she'd catch a little more sleep until it was time to east. Sunshine always made her sleepy, even if she wasn't like Keman, who adored soaking up the rays for entirely different reasons.

"And I got a bit lost last night," Shadow shrugged. "Took a right when I should have taken a left and ended up at a dead end. I just ducked into a room and waited out the rest of the night."

"Good morning to you too Ururu," he offered, "I'm doing just fine. You were really impressive last night, you know? I had no idea you were so amazing. I hope you're doing alright too?" He tried to keep the worry from his face, but he'd seen the way she walked, with a little more stiffness and caution than most children. He'd abandoned her last night to find help for Keman, but... she'd seemed to be doing alright.

He probably had a good reason if he was. But Ururu still worried.
It took the girl a moment to realize when Fai was talking about; the switch did give her power, but she could never remember it well. Everything in her became devoted to beating the enemy; Ururu knew that, and she simply accepted it as part of who she was.
"Thank you. I'm glad I could help." Hopefully she had. Fai said he was doing okay, and even though Ururu didn't quite believe him, he didn't look hurt. "Is Keman-san okay too? What happened after I started to fight?"

He didn't know all of it for certain, just that Keman's friends had come, healed him, and taken him inside while he played at being a target for one of the birds. Or he had until Rukia showed up. That seemed to have been where all his night's troubles began. "Did you find your friend?" he added, once he'd remembered. He'd told her, hadn't he? That her friend would probably be here, fine, and ready to meet her in the morning. Hopefully that was true.

Still feeling a little ill this morning, Tsuzuki didn't care much about the chapel. Instead, he asked to be led to the Sun room, where he found the most comfortable looking couch and dropped into it. They could call him lazy if they wanted, just as long as he didn't still feel sick when the all-you-can-eat breakfast came around. He was looking forward to that.
Mumbling something that sounded like 'thank you' to the nurse who'd helped him, Tsuzuki draped his arm over his eyes to block out the light.

"Rika!" Hanyuu hadn't thought she'd ever be happy to see anyone she knew in this place, but knowing that Rika was here made her happier than she had been since first arriving. "Thank goodness you're here!"
There were still some things Hanyuu was trying to reaccustom herself with when it came to the physical world, but physical contact wasn't one of them (she had gotten well used to that her first night). Therefore, she didn't show any surprise at the touch on her shoulder-- in fact, Hanyuu took it a step further by giving Rika a quick hug.
"I've been so worried, Rika," the former spirit began, her smile fading, "I thought you were still in Hinamizawa. How long have you been here?"

"As did I," Rika nodded, her voice dropping down to her serious tone. "I came here about two days ago - what about you? How did you get here?"
Rika sometimes took Hanyuu for granted, and she knew this. 100 years could make her ill-tempered and harsh towards the spirit, but she truly was relieved and happy to know that Hanyuu was here. A familiar face, especially one that she had been bonded to for so long, was very appreciated.
