Oh so much joy, there was a place to play here, a pit full of plastic balls! Yes, so many fun things had been destroyed on her own world, why not enjoy what was offered here? After icecream. And the coupon was good for a whole meal too! Ed finally dropped TK's hand and sauntered up to the counter, presenting

TK was glad when Ed finally let go of his hand, giving his own meal ticket to the employee behind the counter. He took his food and... well, he would have preferred to sit by himself, but he guessed that it still wasn't an option. He sat down at Ed's table, examining his meal for a moment.
Then he started eating, his burger dissapearing with almost alarming speed. Clones ate a lot, and they ate fast.

Both Ed and TK had a lot more enthusiasm for their food than Marcus had, but it was still food, and the single muffin breakfast had not been filling.

"Edward wants to know more about this other Star Wars concept."
Back to the food, and hopefully stories would follow. Being duped along with generations of Star Wars fans was an idea hard to swallow... but there was a lot unexplained and left hanging in the films after she'd seriously thought about it.

She wondered how close it was to Halloween, eyeing a pumpkin and black cats decal in the window. She and Raye had gone to a party, just a few months ago. Everyone had congratulated them on their engagement. They'd been dressed as James Bond and one of his various lady friends....
God, she needed to stop thinking about Raye.
She stepped up beside L, shaking away those thoughts and eying the menu.
"And I'll take.... a Tasty Breakfast Sandwich Meal. With coffee." Greasy meat and processed cheese product and eggs that had the consistency of plastic actually sounded good.

Shana stepped inside the small building and caught scent of something cooking that immediately made her stomach growl. The place was filled with strangers and she couldn't tell which were patients and which were villagers, and she felt momentarily out of place once more as she glanced around at the foreign surroundings and pictures of odd foods with odder names.
Biting her lip, she tugged her sleeves over her hand as she stepped further into the restaurant and glanced back at Keman to make sure her brother was still with her.

"Free food please!" he told the person behind the counter the second that he made it to them, holding up the coupon to them and smiling widely.
Food was good. Free food was the best. Ginji was way too happy to be able to get a simple meal, but he bet it was going to be very, very tasty.

He placed the order and handed Ginji a tall paper cup, pointing toward the self-serve counter across the way. "You can get as much as you want, so don't worry."
A few moments later, Ginji's food arrived on a tray, hot and perfectly wrapped, and Peter smiled as he handed it over. "I hope you enjoy and thanks for coming to Tasty Burger."

The moment Luke walked into the restaurant, he could already smell the scent of fried meat wafting through the air. Maybe before, he would have been just a little repulsed by the sheer amount of grease he could see on some of the burgers that people around him were eating, but hey, after living through Natalia's cooking, anything was edible to him.
Grinning, Luke was about to step up to the counter and order something (huh. weird. Maybe it was just him, but he was used to places where people came to you for an order. Something new every day, he guessed), but it just so happened that the coupon he had ripped out for this place slipped out of Luke's fingers...
And it just so happened that someone opened the door just then, letting out a gust of air that made the paper fly further away from Luke and to a strange looking playpen area, into a pit with plastic rubber balls in it.
"Ugh, damnit!" Luke groaned, chasing after the paper and stopping short of the pit of balls... a ... ballpit?

While Asch had been more than a little unsure about the so-called 'Tasty Burger' in the first place, that feeling only grew once he found himself inside the restaurant itself. Not that he was a picky eater-- he may have been at one time, but it was surprising how quickly that changed when one became part of the Oracle Knights. Something about this place just seemed... ugh.
He was about ready to leave and try the other place he had a coupon for, when a familiar voice caught his attention. Normally Asch would've simply continued with what he was doing (in this case, staring suspiciously at the alleged 'food' this place served) without paying any mind to Luke, especially since Luke hadn't yet attempted to talk to him. But, his thoughts drifted back to the conversation with Claude on the bus; specifically, the part about people being taken the previous night. And, though he continued to tell himself he didn't care if anyone he knew had been taken, Asch found himself turning to search the restaurant for the other redhead ( ... )

Of course, he didn't expect finding another from his world so soon, and Asch's greeting startled Luke, almost to the point where he fell in ( ... )

Looking to the ball-pit, he had to wonder what it was Luke had lost. It wasn't as though they had been given much of anything to lose, unless the pack of coupons had fallen in there. And if that were the case, that raised the question of how someone managed to drop a pack of coupons in a ball-pit... Or why someone was even near the ball-pit to begin with ( ... )

Once inside, Ritsuka checked behind them to see that the nurses were still there, but giving them enough space. He supposed it could have been worse, but he really wished they'd just go away. There weren't too many people in the joint at the moment, but Ritsuka recognized a few people by face only. He'd seen them in the cafeteria before, but never talked to them. Quite a few seats and booths empty still, meaning he and Soubi could still have some measure of privacy. Glancing up at the Fighter, he asked, "Do you want to get something, too? We all have those coupon things and it's free, after all."

He inspected the coupon.
"Shall I go up?" he offered. Ritsuka had found a nice little spot and he didn't want it getting stolen.

He was off like a shot, leaving Soubi with two coupons and the sight of an unusually chipper Ritsuka. Finding an empty booth away from most of the others, Ritsuka slid into the seat that faced the door and pulled out his camera. He should have taken a picture of the lake, but he didn't want to waste his few precious memories on anything other than the people he met and held dear. While Soubi was gone, he flipped to the first photo - of Soubi at his most natural - and smiled. He wished he could print this out and keep it forever.
