NIGHTSHIFT 27: M41 - M50 Hallway

Nightshift had approached, and Barret was on that door as soon as the locked released. He'd discarded his empty plate for his flashlight and radio, taking to the hall with a swiftness. He made a note to listen to the Head Doctor this time

Zabuza had reached Haku's hallway, now it was only a matter of finding his room.

Rukia continued, checking the room numbers at the end of each hallway. At the last one, she turned right.

They headed down the hallway quickly.

It didn't take long for Duo to hurry himself over to the room that had been posted on the board. M42. Just in case someone might still be inside, he gave a short knock before opening the door. Nothing. Well, might as well let himself in, then.

As he expected, the room was empty. Far enough, he hadn't actually wanted to deal with the guy anyway. It only took a few seconds to look around the room and notice the paper marked 'Quatre'. There was the temptation to sabotage the room in some manner while he was here, but Duo squashed the notion down. Quatre would be pretty upset with him if he ruined this little alliance out of spite. No, he'd play the gentleman for now. Unless the guy started shit tomorrow. There was only so much Quatre could expect him to take. He had his pride to answer to, too.

Grabbing the map, Duo headed back out into the hall without a second glance, pulling the door shut behind him. Now, to head over to the female block to meet with the other pilots...

Only Bast would bounce out into a hallway happily once Nightshift had begun. The man had a very simple plan: rob everyone else while they were wandering around the hospital at night. It made perfect sense to Rabastan. It wasn't like he could go wandering around by himself, was it? He was small! He was weak! The least he could do was relieve his fellow patients of their more important objects that they didn't need, right?

Besides, the Head Doctor had told him to. Heading into the hallway, he eyed the surrounding doors, trying to decide which one to open first and start ransacking.

Progress was slow going up the hallway, there being a good many doors that Bast had to stop and listen at. To his dismay, it appeared all of them either had people in them or were somehow creepy enough to make him rethink the idea of going in. However, Bast was nothing if not persistent. Reaching the end of the hallway, he eyed the others on the cell block. Surely there had to be rooms where no one was, right? Right!

"Eenie, meenie, mineey, moe..."

Deciding on one, Bast headed cheerfully down the M71-80 hallway with his pillowcase slung over his shoulder.

Artemis shut the door behind him and sighed. He hoped things would work out between Zabuza and Haku... it seemed pretty tense in there.

No time to think on that. He had to meet Hitsugaya, and fast!
